It has a new arm tube and the current three-point mounting system, and each one is assembled by hand to achieve very low friction. The result, according to Rega, is performance well above what its price suggests.Where it fitsThe RB220 is the tonearm fitted to Rega's Planar 2 and Planar 78. As a replacement or upgrade, it suits turntables with a Rega-type arm mounting hole, where the distance from the platter centre is 22.2 cm.
