Series M2-9 is the standard arm having a pivot-stylus dimension of 233.2 mm (9.18”) and will therefore be the one most frequently used. Series M2-10 is identical except that the pivot-stylus dimension is 239.3 mm (9.42”) a difference that suits the layout of some decks. Series M2-12 has a pivot-stylus dimension of 308.8 mm (12.16”). Distortion caused by lateral tracking error is at least 25% less than possible with a nine or inch arm. However effective mass will be typically 12.0 grams. One of Rega's most popular tonearmsThe Rega RB220 is the latest evolution of one of the British company's best-loved tonearms. It has a new arm tube and the current three-point mounting system, and each one is assembled by hand to achieve very low friction. The result, according to Rega, is performance well above what its price suggests.Where it fitsThe RB220 is the tonearm fitted to Rega's Planar 2 and Planar 78. As a replacement or upgrade, it suits turntables with a Rega-type arm mounting hole, where the distance from the platter centre is 22.2 cm. It is a right-handed 9-inch arm with an integrated headshell, cueing lever and arm clip.Recommended cartridgesIts low 11 g effective mass makes it ideal for moving magnet cartridges such as the Rega Carbon, the Carbon Pro upgrade and the Nd3 and Nd5. For accurate setting of tracking force, Rega recommends the Atlas MK2 stylus gauge. The cartridge is sold separately.

The evolution of a legendThe Rega RB330 was designed with 3D CAD/CAM and draws on more than 35 years of Rega tonearm experience. The latest version improves ergonomics, usability and sound: a new bias assembly, a stiffer vertical bearing housing, an integrated arm clip, a spring housing with clearer markings, a new low-capacitance phono cable and a redesigned 100 g counterweight.Where you'll find itThe RB330 is the tonearm fitted to Rega's Planar 3 and Planar 6. As an upgrade it suits turntables with a Rega-type mounting hole and is one of the most worthwhile steps for older models from the company. From the Naia, for any reference systemThe Rega RB Titanium is, according to Rega itself, its most advanced and accurate production tonearm. It was first designed to accompany the Naia, the company's flagship turntable, and is now also available separately. Its philosophy is simple to state and extremely difficult to achieve: as few mechanical joints as possible and the stiffest materials in the critical areas.Materials without compromiseWhere the RB3000 uses steel and aluminium, the RB Titanium moves to titanium and tungsten. The vertical bearing housing and vertical spindle are made of titanium, while the counterweight shaft and weight are made of tungsten. The low-mass aluminium tube is polished by hand.Who it is forThe RB Titanium is for those building a reference analogue system around turntables such as the Naia or the top Planar models, and cartridges such as the Aphelion 2. The Nostatic Arm is the modern version of the formerly well known “Dust Bug” by Cecil   Watts. The Nostatic arm incorporates a carbon fiber brush that removes the static electricity from the record during playback, and at the same time picks up the loose dust before the stylus reaches that part of the record. The Nostatic arm has an earth wire which is connected to the earth of the record player or the amplifier. The height can be easily adjusted to fit most record players. It also has a sliding weight in order to adjust the “dusting force” of the brush. Finally the base of the brush has sticky tape so if preferred it can be stuck to the surface of the record player for easy use.

Where tonearm design reaches its limitsThe Rega RB3000 is a reference tonearm with new features that, according to Rega, push the boundaries of tonearm design. Every unit is built entirely by hand by skilled technicians. The improved bearings are selected one by one to match their spindle on both inside and outside diameter, a method that recovers more detail from the record surface.Its place in the rangeThe RB3000 is the tonearm supplied with the Planar 10, Rega's reference turntable, and its new vertical bearing assembly was designed specifically for it. As an upgrade, it fits any turntable with a Rega-type mounting hole and is the final step before the RB Titanium.Recommended cartridgesRega recommends the RB3000 with its moving coil cartridges: the Aphelion 2, Apheta 3, Ania Pro and Ania.
