Step Up Your Performance. The TG I51 is a dynamic instrument microphone – it gets the most out of you and your instrument. It’s your companion on drum kits, snare drums or floor toms as well as on electric guitar amplifiers or wind instruments – no matter if you’re on stage or in the studio. The natural sound and the well-thought-out, slim but robust construction fulfils your every wish. For producers and sound engineers, the microphone is a versatile partner – a true all-rounder for instruments. Natural Sound The microphone boasts beyerdynamic's characteristic natural sound so you’ll hear your instrument just like you want it: as a pure, natural reproduction. Our microphone has a quick response and outstanding impulse fidelity. Well-Thought-Out Construction  It can get a bit hectic on stage and on tour. That’s where a microphone should be able to withstand whatever comes its way. Vibrations and even an impact won’t affect the robust housing. But the TG I51 is still slender and relatively light to transport. Its rather short shaft makes it very easy to mount the microphone on its stand or on a snare drum using the MKV 87 from beyerdynamic. It requires minimal space and is sure to be your lasting companion. For Many Uses The TG I51 is a versatile instrument microphone for many uses. Whether on drum kits, snare drums or deeper tom-toms or on guitar amplifiers: It always produces the highest sound quality. The microphone also demonstrates its strengths on brass instruments, making it an all-rounder for the stage and studio. Optimal Isolation  The cardioid characteristic ensures excellent isolation from ambient noises and increases protection against feedback. It’s particularly suitable for uses involving direct sources in loud environments. Even on the very loudest rock-and-roll stages, the dynamic instrument microphone demonstrates a remarkable resistance to feedback – rear sound is suppressed and side sound is only recorded at very soft levels. Made In Germany  Made by hand at the company’s production site in Heilbronn, the TG I51 fascinates users with its exceptional workmanship. The combination of craftsmanship, select materials and years and years of production experience creates a truly reliable drum microphone.

The D12 VR is a large-diaphragm cardioid dynamic microphone. Designed specifically for kick-drum recording applications, the microphone has a thin diaphragm to enhance the low frequency performance. Without phantom power, the microphone delivers the pure character of the sound source. With phantom power enabled, one of three switchable active-filter presets can be used to quickly adapt the microphone response to suit the desired kick-drum. The warm sound is realized by the original C 414 transformer from the 1970's and a patented discrete circuitry. The filter setting can be controlled using a switch on the microphone body. In this mode the output level is also reduced by 10dB automatically. Active filter operation: The implementation of an active electronic filter in a dynamic microphone is an AKG patented solution. "Phantom Power" must be supplied from the connected mixing desk in order to power the active filter circuitry. The operating principle of the active filters is based on analogue circuitry combined with a transformer. Frequency processing is performed in the filter circuit and then combined with the audio signal in the transformer. Impedance differences between the microphone and other equipment are cancelled out enabling a perfect sound regardless of the connected device. The resulting sound is especially impressive at high signal levels at which the transformer enhances the audio signal. HIGHLIGHTS - Patented analogue processing unit Cardioid polar pattern - Dynamic passive mode - Ultra thin diaphragm - Optimized bass chamber - 3 active sound shapes s/P48 power Zero latency calculator - Original C414 transforme.

The D112 MkII can handle more than 160 dB SPL without distortion. Its large diaphragm has a very low resonance frequency that delivers a solid and powerful response below 100 Hz. Its authoritative low end is complemented by a narrow-band presence boost at 4 kHz that punches through even dense mixes and loud stage volumes with forceful impact. One of the many reasons artists and sound engineers love the D112 MkII is that it requires no additional EQ to sound just right as soon as you bring up the fader. Further refining its performance, the D112 MkII features an integrated hum-compensation coil that keeps noise to an absolute minimum. In addition to being an exceptional bass drum mic on stage and in the studio, the D112 MkII is an excellent choice for miking electric bass cabinets and trombones.

The TG D70d dynamic large-diaphragm microphone is exceptionally reliable for the transmission of sound from low-frequency instruments – the best friend of every bass drum, djembe and bass amplifier.Despite its bulky appearance, it can be easily positioned in the resonant head, even in bass drums with very tiny holes. The mass-reduced special membrane delivers exceptional impulse fidelity and the hypercardioid polar pattern ensures excellent feedback reduction. For each switch a specially equalised frequency response curve can be set, which delivers brilliant sound even without making complicated settings on the mixing console; or a linear frequency response curve can be set, which transmits the natural bass drum sound which can then be acoustically tuned via the mixing console.

Whether with standing toms, snare drums or percussion instruments - with its patented clip-on mount and integrated pre-amplifier, the TG D57c condenser microphone is mounted and ready in a flash. The expanded frequency range ensures faithful reproduction of all drum types and the 72 mm long flexible gooseneck allows it to be optimally positioned relative to the sound source. An elastic capsule suspension on the capsule housing protects against damage from drumstick strikes. The new electronics provide increased level accuracy and guarantee a very high maximum sound pressure level – even with phantom powering below 44 V.

The practical advantages of the patented microphone clamp on the TG D58c condenser microphone are immediately apparent whether when using with rack toms, snare drums or percussion instruments: the microphone can be mounted and positioned quickly and securely. The balanced frequency response also makes it immediately ready for use. Pre-amplifiers are a thing of the past due to the integrated pre-amplifiers with downward-facing standard XLR connections. Its ability to operate at high levels compared to the previous model Opus 88 should also be mentioned, as is the newly designed, low-resonance housing, the elastic capsule suspension, the improved signal-to-noise ratio and technical values that remain valid even with phantom powering below 44 volts.

To pick up sound from brass instruments such as saxophones, trumpets, trombones or horns, a microphone really has to function at a high level, a requirement where the TG I 57c premium clip-on condenser microphone succeeds with flying colours. It can operate at extremely high maximum sound levels and reliably suppresses unwanted noise as a result of its cardioid polar pattern. The easy to mount clamp with gooseneck for optimal positioning protects the instrument’s surface and provides a reliable hold. For wired operation at a phantom powering input, the optional CV 18 is necessary.
