An ideal DAW for creative artistsFrom the beginning, Ableton Live has been as much a creative tool as a DAW. This duality essentially has to do with the way Live lets you construct tracks and play with audio in real time. There are two main parts to Live: the Arrangement View and the Session View. The Arrangement View is more or less a standard linear DAW, with time on the X axis and tracks on the Y axis. Where Live differs from other DAWs is its Session View, which puts individual tracks on the X axis and scenes on the Y axis. Each scene contains a slot on each channel for a clip. Clips are usually short pieces of audio or MIDI, a few measures longer or shorter, that loop to create grooves. Launched individually, these loops let you experiment with your arrangements, trying out various combinations of grooves and riffs.Since everything from modern electronic music to classic rock and blues is heavily based on repeating sections, Live's Session View makes it an ideal creative tool for all kinds of songwriters. In fact, the songwriting tools don't stop there. In addition to launching individual clips, you can launch entire scenes, complete with automatic advancement to subsequent scenes, scene repeat instructions, and other logic options.Using scenes makes it easy to arrange entire songs in parts (verse, chorus, etc.). When you record your progression to the linear Arrangement View, you add the possibility to record lead lines and other performances that fall outside the rest of the song structure. What's more, all of the loop-/riff-based arrangement options are still available on the timeline, so you can continue to edit and build on your song even after you record it to the Session View. All of the standard DAW functions you needIn addition to the standard linear Session View, Ableton Live comes loaded with every standard DAW function you need. Nondestructive multitrack recording at up to 32-bit/192kHz is the beginning. You get powerful mixing and signal-flow tools such as bussing and return tracks. VST and AU plug-in formats fit right into your workflow, right alongside the wonderful tools bundled with Live. Live's MIDI sequencing capabilities are second to none, and easy access to automation curves, MIDI learn, and more make this a total DAW powerhouse.More content than you could ever ask forWhen you stop and consider the amount of content Ableton packed into Live 12 Suite, it's staggering. Download all 33 content packs, and we're talking about over 71 GB of killer sounds. You also get all 20 software instruments, 58 audio effects, and 14 MIDI effects that span things like amp emulation, acoustic resonance, and other unique effects, in addition to all of the standard effects, EQs, dynamics, and other processors. Top-notch synth and sampler instruments only add to the value. But that's not all: Live 12 Suite also includes the flexible architecture of Max for Live built right in, unlocking a whole new dimension to its creative potential.Make your own effects and instruments with Max for LiveIn the unlikely event that you can't find the sound you're looking for somewhere in Ableton Live 12 Suite's massive sound library, then you're probably not looking hard enough. You're going to love diving into Max for Live. It's like a programming language; however, instead of lines of code, you use virtual boxes, gizmos, and cables to turn your ideas into original instruments and effects — right inside Ableton Live 12. And to get you rolling smoothly with Max for Live, Live 12 Suite even includes an extensive collection of excellent Max Devices that will make building more complex modules much less difficult.Live 12 Suite augments your rig with killer new soundsFrom MPE-capable sound shaping to expressive granular textures to colorful saturation, Live 12 Suite expands the kind of music you can make right out of the box. Further, you get a new modulation behavior that will turbocharge your workflows with more performance options and continuous real-time parameter control.Meld: a bi-timbral, MPE-capable instrument that unlocks deep sound shaping for creating experimental textures and tones with two macro oscillatorsGranulator III: an MPE-capable upgrade of Robert Henke's granular instrument with expressive control over your parameters and real-time audio captureRoar: a coloration and saturation effect that ranges from subtle, mastering-grade warmth to complete sonic decimation with series, parallel, mid-side, and multiband configurationsNew Modulation Behavior: modulations are no longer taken over by the modulation source, so you can continue to tweak a modulated parameter even after assigning an LFO or other modulation source to itLost and Found: a character-infused collection of sounds crafted from unusual materials, percussive trinkets, unique foley recordings, and expressive objectsPerformance Pack: a set of innovative devices from Iftah that really push Live's boundaries by allowing you to capture snapshots of your sets and deploy them later, control multiple parameters with layered macros and curves, extend performances with looping in Arrangement View, and prearrange the structure of a performance before you record itTons of powerful new featuresAbleton really stepped up their game with Live 12, introducing a bunch of great new features. If you've used previous versions of Live, then you're definitely going to want to check these out.MIDI Transformations: add variations to your MIDI clips, such as creating ornamental articulations, drawing acceleration and deceleration curves, connecting successive notes and chords, and simulating strummingMIDI Generators: craft melodies, chords, and rhythms by using the new MIDI Generators to create engaging patternsMax for Live MIDI Tools: experiment with Max in completely new ways with the new MIDI Transformations and MIDI GeneratorsMIDI Editing Improvements: arrange the order of a selection of notes by pitch, velocity, or duration to conjure up exciting new sonic concoctionsKeys and Scales: set the selected clip's scale in Live's Control Bar to see its notes in any clip you create, then edit the clip using scale highlighting as a guide, use the clip scale to transform and generate musical ideas, or sync the scale of MIDI devices and instruments to the clip being playedExpanded Probability: assign a single probability rule to a group of notes so that the entire group of notes is played whenever the trigger is firedEmbrace and Explore Tunings: easily access alternate tuning systems — even those outside of the 12-note equal temperament systemStack Live's Detail Views: view your devices and the Clip Editor or automation at the same time for distraction-free toggling between viewsMixer in Arrangement: Live's Mixer can now be viewed in the Arrangement Window instead of only in the Session WindowBrowser Tagging and Filtered Searches: search for sounds in the Browser without the constraints of Live's built-in categorizationSound Similarity Search: easily find comparable sounds and instrument presets to any other sampleDrum Rack Swapping: instantly swap out the samples in your Drum Rack for similar ones to audition new percussive textures

Get inspired, then refine your mix — all in a singular workflow. Digital Performer 11 delivers inspirational features devised to ignite your creative muse, combined with state-of-the-art studio production technologies engineered for the most demanding, world-class recording and production environments. Articulation Maps Articulation maps allow you to dynamically apply variation to the output of a MIDI track using remote triggers that affect the output of the track. For example, you could create an articulation map called Basic Articulations with separate triggers for Legato, Staccato and Marcato, and then expressively switch among them, on the fly, as you record or play the track. You can import or create custom maps for many popular orchestra sound libraries. Articulation symbols appear in the QuickScribe Editor, linked to their articulation map, where they can be further edited and inserted. You can also edit articulations for a track in lanes in the Graphic Editor and QuickScribe Editor. Audio Retrospective Record DP11 adds audio to its Retrospective Recording capabilities. Now, DP always listens to both MIDI and audio input sources, capturing everything, even if you’re not recording. Like magic, you can immediately recall any audio or MIDI material you’ve recently played. For both MIDI and audio input, Digital Performer frees your creativity and ensures you'll never lose that precious, fleeting creative moment. Clip Triggering With NovationTM and AkaiTM Pad Controllers Gain complete hands-on control of DP’s extensive Clips window with a pad controller like the NovationTM LaunchpadTM Pro mk3 or AkaiTM APC-40. Trigger individual clips or entire scenes (sections of songs). Apply filter sweeps and other effects processing as you go: Digital Performer is now a powerhouse live performance platform that can take your shows wherever you can imagine. Live Performance Mode When performing live, you want all effects processing to be done in real time, rather than pre- generated, for instant responsiveness. Live Performance Mode ensures that your computer feels like an extension of your hands. Chunk Folders and Playlists DP’s unique Chunks feature allows you to create and manage multiple sequences, songs and V-Racks in a single DP project file, from cues for a movie score to set lists for live shows. In DP11, you can now organize your chunks into folders and playlists. Folders are for perfect for organizing your chunks, while playlists serve perfectly as set lists for your next live show. Chunks List Split View Split the chunk list in two sections for improved chunk list management. For example, you could search for a chunk in one list section and then drag it into a folder or playlist in the other. Managing your chunks has never been easier. Multi-channel MIDI Tracks You can now record and play multiple channels of MIDI data in a single track. When setting MIDI track input and output assignments, instead of choosing a specific channel, you can choose ‘any.’ When you choose any for input, you can record all 16 MIDI channels into the track at once. The channels are stored with the MIDI events in the track. When you choose ‘any’ in the track's output assignment, the events will be played out on the same channel they were recorded. Enhanced View Filtering Show and hide individual MIDI channel data using new ‘Channel Selection’ section in the Track Selector. Use the ‘Event Type Selector’ section to show and hide specific event types. Support for MPE and Per-Note CCs MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) is here! In DP 11, you can record multi-channel output from an MPE controller — such as a RoliTM SeaboardTM — as regular MIDI notes containing MPE expression data. Instead of a slew of note and controller data splayed across dozens of tracks, you see a single stream of normal MIDI notes that each contain their own note-specific controllers, for easy and intuitive editing. Hide and show the contained per-note controller and pitch-change events in DP’s familiar piano roll. Zoom in the note grid for finer detail. Zoom per- note data independently of the notes that contain them. Select a number of notes and simply drag vertically on their per-note data with the new "Scale" tool to increase or reduce the amount of expression. MPE-enabled virtual synths The following virtual synth instruments that are included with DP support MPE: Bassline,Modulo, MX4, Nanosampler 2.0, Polysynth and Proton. Per-note Expression Data Lanes Add separate lanes in the Sequence Editor to view and edit per-note MPE expression data with DP’s familiar and powerful continuous controller (CC) editing tools. A check box in each lane allows you to easily toggle the lane between track data and per-note data. With zero learning curve, you’ll master the editing of per-note expression data. New Scale Tool Quickly scale per-note expression data by simply dragging vertically with the new Scale Tool. New Control Surface plug-ins for Native InstrumentsTM and IconTM DP 11 includes new control surface plug-ins for the current Native InstrumentsTM Komplete KontrolTM lineup, including the M32, A-Series, and S-Series MK2 controller lines, and the hot new iCON ControlTM mixing worksurfaces like the QConTM Pro G2/EX, Pro X/XS, Platform Nano and Platform M/X series. These state-of-the-art control surfaces empower your DP workflow so you can work faster and more intuitively. Enhanced AvidTM EuConTM Support DP’s EuCon plug-in has been substantially updated, including support for the Avid S6TM console. In addition, you can now use your EuCon worksurface with DP running on Windows 10. Enhanced Support for MCU and HUI-compatible Control Surfaces A new plug-in called “MCU Compatible” improves support for third-party control surfaces that are Mackie Control Universal-compatible. Substantial improvements have been made to DP’s Mackie Control Universal (MCU) and HUI control surface plug-ins, which can be used with any control surface that supports those protocols, including improved automation toggling, scrub modes, send mode, loop toggle and much more. More Control Surface Enhancements For all control surfaces that support these features: V-Racks can now be displayed on all control surfaces. New track pinning modes (Pin to Mixer, Pin to Focus Window and All Tracks) significantly improve the way corresponding tracks are displayed in DP and on the control surface, so that you always see the tracks you need. New track indicator lights in the Sequence Editor and Mixing Board show which tracks are currently active on any control surface. Track and Clip Effects Every audio track, MIDI track and clip now has a basic transpose setting that you can use to transpose the content of that track or clip by an interval on playback, leaving the original data unaffected. You can conveniently change the setting at any time. MIDI tracks and clips also have a quantize setting, in addition to transpose. Intelligent Audio Interface Selection On macOS, if you haven’t yet selected the audio hardware you wish to use with DP, DP finds the best option for you. If you have a MOTU interface, or other professional interface, DP uses it. If not, DP uses whatever input and output devices you have selected in the System Preferences Sound Panel, and will follow your selection there if you change it. Of course, if you do choose an interface from within DP, DP uses it. Clips Window Enhancements The new ‘Empty Clips Scene’ command makes a new scene and fills it with new empty clips. The ‘Double Clip Loop’ feature doubles the length of the looped portion in a clip and repeats the material to fill the new loop, so you can easily creates changes that you hear every other time through the looped material. List Font Scaling Now you can resize the text in DP’s list windows, independent of the scaling for the rest of the UI. Control three new font size preferences: List, Project Notes and Lyrics. Text Rendering and dialog box scaling on Windows Taking advantage of the latest text rendering engine in Windows 10, DP’s text appears significantly crisper. Numerous additional text alignment tweaks improve DP’s look on Windows. DP now also uses Windows 10's DPI-awareness setting, allowing DP to resize system dialogs and menus appropriately for the size and resolution of your computer screen. Dynamically Resizable Channel Strips DP's faders resize when you make the Mixing Board and Channel Strip windows taller (or shorter). Support for macOS Big Sur and Apple silicon Macs DP11 is fully qualified for macOS Big Sur (11.x) and the latest generation Apple silicon Macs. DP’s audio engine is fully optimized for multi-core performance on Apple silicon, prioritizing audio threads on high-speed cores and reserving CPU bandwidth for critical, time-sensitive processing. ‘Transpose Exclude’ option A new track setting (column) in the Track List allows you to exclude tracks from the Transpose region command. There are also new commands to turn it on and off.

Your Tools For Audio Production Sequoia's feature set covers every step of your daily production tasks. Check out the core functions based on our solutions' workflow categories. Get in contact for a complete list of features. Metering And Matching Loudness Metering in Sequoia The metering display in Sequoia enables you to work with absolute precision. Access a range of visual layouts and set up your own private "cockpit" with different metering indicators. The following presets are also available for radio and TV broadcast norms: Type I, DIN scale - Type I, Nordic scale Type IIA, BBC -Type IIB, EBU. True peak metering Due to the inaccuracies of a sample peak meter, it's not possible to avoid clipping or distortion in the analog output if the individual samples in the original aren't at full scale. So, a normal peak meter cannot represent "real" peak values. Inter-sample peaks identified by oversampling by a factor of 4 can now be displayed and allow you to see "real" peaks. Loudness metering This plug-in enables you to adjust loudness and dynamics in accordance with international broadcasting standards EBU R128 und ITU-R BS.1770 for TV and radio programs. In Sequoia, you can switch between EBU R128 and ITU-R BS.1771 loudness measuring on the fly. Loudness normalization Normalize objects and audio files in accordance with broadcast standards. Loudness normalization can also be applied to the batch processing feature. This allows a large number of files to be adjusted to the target loudness value automatically. Automatic loudness normalization is optional for stereo audio export to broadcast databases. Dynamic limiting Dynamic limiting is now part of the loudness normalization dialog and enables the limiting of object dynamics in order to even out loudness variation within the audio material. Calculate loudness Calculate the loudness of the entire project or the selected range. The calculated values are displayed in a text dialog. This dialog also contains the option "Correct program loudness with master volume", which adjusts the volume using the stereo master or Surround master. Loudness data export Set the options for the loudness calculation for the file manager, for track bouncing and for database export. XML files are created during exporting, bouncing, batch processing or calculating loudness values. During saving loudness values can also be written as BWF files which are compliant with EBU Tech 3285. Multi-User Handling Network dongles Each CodeMeter dongle can make its network licenses usable on other workstations. To reduce the amount of administrative work when using multiple licenses in a company, Sequoia offers network dongles with any desired amount of network licenses which can be accessed by any desired number of workstations. This can make it a lot easier to upgrade firmware and software. User administration The local user administration allows the administrator to grant or deny users access to certain hard drives. Sequoia may also be set up so that users can change program options while they are working, but the software will open with the administrator settings the next time it is launched. All Sequoia system settings can be saved in a container file to make it easy to transfer settings from one computer to another. When you put Sequoia on a new system, you can decide which settings to transfer (e.g. general settings, display settings, window positions, project templates, etc.). Network login Container files can also be used for network login, where they are stored in a network path to serve as user or group profile images. This lets you centrally manage all user profiles on a server. Users can log in on any workstation in the network with their personal settings. It's also possible to start off with the default settings on every new network login or to automatically transfer settings changes to the network profile. All these features make it easy for administrators to set up and manage even a large number of workstations. Cleaning And Restoring Spectral Cleaning Especially useful for post-editing live recordings and interviews containing noises from moving chairs, cell phones and coughing: Audio disturbances can be easily selected for removal with the mouse. Elements that have gone missing from the original frequency spectrum are recalculated into the recording using interpolation or transitions from the surrounding usable signal. Threshold range editing and logarithmic display As part of the Spectral Cleaning you can limit interpolation to certain amplitudes in the spectrum. Specific notes can be removed from the spectrum without influencing background signals. Quieter or louder signal components outside the area will not be affected. The logarithmic display allows you to change the spectrum view from linear to logarithmic. Switch to logarithmic display when working in low frequency ranges for improved display of the ranges and to enable precise changes in the material. Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 7 The external audio editor visualizes the frequency spectrum in layers and enables a whole new workflow for restoration, sound design and mixing. Intuitive operation, high performance audio engine and audio editing in 3D make SpectraLayers Pro one of the world’s most revolutionary spectral editing platforms. DeHisser The DeHisser is an additional noise removal tool which eliminates regular, low-level "white" noise, typically produced by recordings, microphone pre-amplifiers or transformers. Unlike with the DeNoiser, a sample of the distortion is not required. DeClipper The De-clipper is a tool for removing clipping and distortions. Passages with clipping are recalculated, i.e. interpolated, based on the material immediately surrounding them. The DeClipping algorithm is suitable for material with clearly audible clipping, e.g. distorted piano or vocals. DeNoiser Using "noise prints", the DeNoiser contained in Sequoia can remove distracting elements with little to no effect on the audio signal itself. For example, you can select the noise print of an air conditioning unit and calculate the noisy signal in your audio material in real time, allowing you to restore one-of-a-kind recordings in no time at all. Brilliance enhancer In contrast to an equalizer, which only raises existing frequencies, the Brilliance Enhancer recalculates new overtones from the remaining signal and markedly refreshes the sound. The Brilliance Enhancer is particularly effective when used as a mastering effect for pop and rock songs to increase transparency and brilliance. DeClicker/DeCrackler The DeClicker removes crackling and individual clicking noises, which are typical on scratched records. The DeCrackler has been specifically developed to remove crackling noises from old records. The signal display shows you the edited material as a continuous waveform or a spectrogram. In the display, you can see at which position the DeClicker and the DeCrackler have intervened. Preparing Productions For Release MP3/AAC preview plug-in Preview projects that you plan to export as AAC or MP3 using the encoder settings. You can change the export settings directly in the dialog window. During the mastering process you have the option of taking the idiosyncrasies of the encoder into account and adjusting the quality relative to the requirements (e.g. "Mastered for iTunes"). CD/DVD mastering CDs produced and burned with Sequoia are 100% Red Book-compatible and can be sent directly for pressing. CDs can be configured to include copy protection, UPC/EAN, ISRC, pre-emphasis, and CD text. Audio material with higher sample rates may be burned in stereo or Surround to audio DVDs. DDP import/export Sequoia supports professional file exchange between mastering studios and pressing plants. It's also possible to import DDP masters for editing or to compare them to the original project. Use the Sonoris DDP player to playback tracks and track transitions, see all PQ codes, ISRC, MCN and CD text data, and automatically check projects for RedBook compatibility. Sharing Projects And Multi-Format Files Batch processing for watch folders Batch export multiple files at once. Define and trigger different export tasks altogether. Significantly reduce production time - batch processing specified through Batch XML can now be done in watch folders. Any files dropped in will be converted immediately. Project import and export Sequoia offers integrated OMF/AAF support, making it possible to exchange projects between programs and platforms. AAF is the preferred exchange format due to its larger feature set and open documentation. Hassle-free exchange of Ambisonics data with different software is granted. Video import and export Sequoia supports most standard audio and video formats. Sequoia also make it possible to edit video material for dubbing and post-production. Multiple videos can be loaded into Sequoia natively. Make sure you use uncompressed (or minimally compressed) formats, since positioning and editing these is much faster. Surround 3D Reverb 3D Reverb is a unique and powerful algorithmic reverb. It creates the sound of a wide variety of acoustic spaces from small rooms to large concert halls. It works equally well in stereo and 3D multichannel applications with up to 10 audio channels natively. The input signals are passed into the virtual room according to their 3D panning, which directly supports the spatial impression of surround sound mixes. 3D Surround Panner The clear view dialog allows for intuitive control when positioning highs in virtual sound sources. The positioning of the spatial axis can be automatized in both track and object. New VBAP positioning mode ("Vector Base Amplitude Panning") enables users to create Surround setup phantom sources with high sound localization acuity. VBAP can be used independently of the number of virtual speakers and in either 2D or 3D setup. Surround tracks Sequoia supports the use of any number of Surround masters in a single project, and up to 32 channels per track. No matter the channel count you can always create a stereo downmix as well. Level components for Surround channels can also be freely determined. Accessibility The accessibility of our products is of the utmost importance to us – especially in the domain of audio, since many visually impaired people have a heightened sense of hearing. We want everyone to be able to use our audio products to their fullest potential, with as few limitations as possible. For this reason, we've integrated features to assist blind and visually impaired users into versions of Sequoia from Version 13.

But that’s just the beginning of Notion’s playback features. Your music, in the studio or on the go.  Create a score in Notion for Mac or Windows PC; then continue to work on it on your Windows tablet or iPad. Or capture inspiration on the fly with your iPhone and transfer to your computer for in-depth editing. No other notation software can do this. With Notion and Notion for iOS you can seamlessly create, send, and open scores between Mac, Windows, and iOS devices and continue to work on your score, anywhere, anytime! No matter which platform you use, you get the high-quality playback sounds for which Notion is famous. Plus Notion 6 is a native 64-bit application on all platforms, so you get fast, efficient, and stable performance too. Interactive tools make entry fast and intuitive.  Enter notes with ease using Notion 6’s interactive fretboard, keyboard, and drum pad. It’s the fastest and most convenient way to capture pitches, drum parts, and guitar fingerings. You can even customize the number of guitar strings on the fretboard and the order of entry for each voice for the drum pad. Lyrics can be entered in directly or pasted from any digital source. Want to get your hands on your score? Notion 6’s new Powered by MyScript™ handwriting-recognition feature for Mac, Windows, and iOS lets you write directly into the score, automatically converting your input into digital notation. Choose chords from a generous chord library and create your own chords. It’s simple to enter the chord name or voicing you want to appear in your score. Choose from standard chord symbols and fretted chord symbols and design custom chord symbols and diagrams. Chords remain on the fretboard for repeated entry, and the software can recall recently used chords. Chord symbols can be attached anywhere over empty measures, meaning lead sheets can be created in no time! Capture MIDI parts and edit them with your score.  Recording MIDI performances and editing MIDI data is easy in Notion. Viewing MIDI and standard notation together makes the experience unique and intuitive. Choose keyboard, guitar, or drum entry, and dial in exactly how Notion will follow your playing. Enter in real time or in step time, then view your MIDI performance data in Notion’s Sequencer Staff. Better yet, use the Sequencer Overlay, which allows you to see notation and MIDI performance data on the same staff. Using drag-and-drop, edit each individual note’s velocity, duration, start point, and end point. For precise values, double-click each note and customize the note’s numeric values directly. Notion combines the power of MIDI sequencing with the clarity of standard notation in a unique and powerful way.

Back with a MasterpieceThe Grand 3 boasts completely different piano models to its two predecessors, merely building on the prestige that its name has managed to attain over the past years. This means that versions 2 and 3, both old and new, equally deserve to be held in high esteem for their respective quality piano models. But always keep in mind: for The Grand 3, Steinberg has not only come up with several different piano models but uses intelligent sample architecture and latest recording technology to achieve an even more authentic sonic image and realistic feel.Three grand mastersThe Grand 3 prides itself on three outstanding virtual grand pianos with a rich and realistic sound based on the most widely acclaimed grand pianos. The Yamaha C7 grand piano is the artist’s choice — its sound providing a true concert grand experience, while the expressive tone of the Bösendorfer 290 Imperial provides an extended musical range not found in other pianos. What’s more: the incredible sound, responsiveness and superb playing behavior of the Steinway D have also been added to perfectly complement the collection of virtual pianos featured in The Grand 3.More pianos, more choicesThe classic Yamaha CP80 Electric Grand has a timbral character that makes it genuinely recognizable. The Nordiska Pianofabriken upright piano has been recorded and designed for the not so grandeur of musical genres — its sound is ideal for pop and jazz music.Superb reverberationThe Grand 3 comes with a convolution reverb based on the same technology used by REVerence, the world’s first VST3-based convolution reverb processor already featured in Cubase 5 which benefits from every single aspect the VST3 standard has to offer. It boasts sumptuously realistic natural space simulation, emulating any acoustic environment — from the smallest live music venue to the most impressive cathedrals. This reverb includes a vast number of impulse responses that put the characteristic sound of some of the world’s most distinctive settings immediately in one’s hands — both in stereo and surround. An algorithmic reverb is also included to increase the amount of reverbs. With more than 60 reverb presets, this leaves the artist with ample scope to spatially enhance the piano sound!Flexible equalizationThis powerful and versatile equalizer offers full four-band parametric control that works as a sum over all output channels with variable response curves and shelving modes, as well as analog-style peak filters. All tuned upThe enhanced tuning editor provides customizable scales and a wealth of presets for tempered and concert tuning. Each tuning situation may be stored and retrieved as preset whenever required. The Grand 3 standaloneThe standalone version allows The Grand 3 to be used without a host application — a great choice for performing live and delivering the best sounding, most playable virtual piano software ever experienced! The Grand 3 standalone version comes with two additional features:For the record: The quick-idea scratch pad in The Grand 3 standalone version guarantees that all flashes of inspiration are recorded. Simply hit the button and The Grand 3 records everything played — now there’s no excuse for missing that one tune! With the scratch pad allows the recorded sequence to be played back for rehearsal purposes or exported as a standard MIDI file. It is also possible to load MIDI files and play them back as well.Never miss a beat: The metronome integrated into The Grand 3 standalone version is a useful tool, helping musicians keep a constant tempo while practicing the most difficult of piano pieces.Steinberg Key required
