Fusing Technics' traditional analogue and leading-edge digital technologies Launched in 2016, the SL-1200G combined Technics‘ traditional analogue technology and advanced digital technology, while redesigning parts throughout. Its outstanding performance literally rocked the hi-fi market and redefined the reference for direct-drive turntables. Parts that were inherited from the SL-1200G were newly developed for the SL-1210GR, beginning with the coreless direct-drive motor and precise motor control technology that eliminated the cogging that originated from rotation irregularity, and including a low-vibration, high-rigidity platter and high-sensitivity tonearm. By these measures, the level of performance clearly outperforms the usual standards of its class. The SL-1210GR invites more audio enthusiasts to enjoy music with the rich, robust sound of analogue records. Coreless Direct-Drive Motor Achieving Stable Rotation In 1970, Technics commercialized the world‘s first direct-drive turntable, and the system took the world by storm. Unlike belt-drive and other systems, direct-drive systems rotate the motor at low speed and directly drive the platter, thus providing numerous advantages, such as the almost complete absence of degradation in S/N ratio due to motor vibration and deceleration mechanisms, as well as high reliability over a long period time because of not requiring parts replacement. And in 2016, Technics developed the twin-rotor, surface-facing, coreless direct-drive motor with rotor magnets placed on both sides, thereby eliminating the rotation irregularity of the motor, referred to as "cogging," which was a unique issue for direct-drive systems. This motor was adopted for the SL-1200G, which once again drew a significant response in the hi-fi market. The SL-1210GR inherits the same design philosophy with the new development of a single-rotor, surface-facing, coreless direct-drive motor, resulting in the elimination of cogging. High-precision Motor Control for Ideal Rotation Conditions The rotation control, which verifies and corrects the precision of the motor, uses the latest motor control technology cultivated in the development of Blu-ray disc devices, just as that used by the SL-1200G. Sine waves stored in ROM are used for the control waveforms at constant speed, and this achieves smoother and more stable rotation compared with using the simple sine wave generation with an external coil as in the conventional SL-1200MK5. In addition, the electrical circuitry has had tuning performed so that the newly developed motor of the SL-1210GR achieves maximum performance. The starting torque achieves 2.2 kg x cm with only a single rotor. The same startup time of 0.7 s (at 33 1/3 rpm) as the SL-1200G has been achieved. Pursuing Rigidity and Vibration Damping Characteristics The platter achieves high rigidity and vibration damping characteristics by using a two-layer construction with deadening rubber applied to the entire rear surface of the aluminium die-cast to eliminate the unnecessary resonance that is otherwise relayed to the record, thereby producing clear sound. To increase the inertial mass and reduce vibration, the shape of the aluminium die-cast portion was optimized by simulation. At 2.5 kg (including the rubber mat), the SL-1210GR platter is 0.8 kg heavier than that of the previous SL-1200MK5. Also, the back surface of the platter has strengthening ribs added to improve rigidity. Increasing the surface area of contact with the deadening rubber achieves damping characteristics that are more than twice those of the SL-1200MK5. Tonearm Achieving High Initial-Motion Sensitivity The tonearm tracks the rotation of the record and enables reading with high precision, and the tonearm inherited by Technics is the traditionally used static-balance universal S-shaped tonearm, employing an aluminium pipe with excellent light weight and rigidity for the material of the tonearm pipe. With its gimbal suspension construction, the tonearm bearing section uses a cut-processed housing that employs high-precision bearings, as in the SL-1200G. The high initial-motion sensitivity of 5 mg or less is achieved through manual assembly and adjustment by skilled Japanese artisans. This enables the grooves etched into the records to be accurately traced. In addition, one type of auxiliary weight comes included, and the cartridge can be swapped with a variety of other cartridges to match the music genre or feeling. (Applicable cartridge weight when using the supplied auxiliary weight: 10 - 16.4 g (not including the supplied head shell)) High-quality Terminals for Both Sound and Appearance The turntable uses gold-plated phono terminals for detachable cables, and so a wide variety of cables can be selected. Also, the use of metal shielding construction inside the case reduces the effects of external noise. High-rigidity Body and High-damping Silicon Insulators for Smooth Sound and Isolation from Various Vibrations The SL-1210GR ensures high rigidity by using a body with a two-layered construction solidly unifying the BMC and the aluminium die-cast chassis. For the insulators supporting the body, as with the SL-1200G, the SL-1210GR uses special silicon rubber that ensures both high vibration damping characteristics and long-term reliability. Vibration in the horizontal direction is absorbed by reinforcement with cylindrical tubes using microcell polymers. While inheriting the technology of the SL-1200G, the insulators have had tuning performed specifically for the SL-1210GR. Also, the installation section of the insulators is equipped with a vertical adjustment mechanism using screws. This eliminates the rattle that occurs when the turntable is installed in a rack or the like, and prevents unwanted vibration. In addition, exact horizontal adjustment of the platter and record surface reduces rotation irregularity due to slanting, thereby enabling more stable record playing.

The first Debut turntable, introduced in the late 1990s, was a revolution for the hi-fi industry. For the first time after the arrival of Compact Disc and the assumed demise of vinyl records, an analogue product re-emerged in the “mass market” – something all music lovers could afford.  The new DEBUT Carbon DC has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables is growing again!  The most obvious improvement is the inclusion of a CARBON TUBE for the tonearm, which increases stiffness and decreases unwanted resonance.  This material normally is extensively used in high-end tonearms, but – because of cost reasons – was never used in products at lower price levels. Together with other improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilising TPE-damping) and ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability without unwanted vibration.  The DEBUT CARBON DC will be offered in high-gloss black or shiny red, green, blue, yellow, silver or white as no-added-cost option. Specifications: 8,6” carbon tonearm   Increased platter size with more weight   Precision belt drive with synchronous motor   New DC power supply with ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability.   New TPE motor suspension   Felt mat   magnetic cartridge options from Ortofon OM 10 or 2M red   7 high-gloss colours

The MK2 Model 20 is a finely engineered precision turntable. High density construction, extensional damping of major
surfaces and lack of vibration from moving parts ensures exceptional detail, resolution and uncoloured performance.
Equipped with a new highly advanced drive system provides a significant improvement to speed control, accuracy and
stability, making the new generation Model 20 far superior to the highly acclaimed original. The Model 20 has superb instrument quality machining allied with fundamental physics, the higher the mass and stiffness of the body the less it will flex and vibrate; the duration of a vibration is shortened by advanced damping treatment. The Model 20 effortlessly addresses the problems of extraneous vibrations which emanate from numerous sources including air and structural vibration from loudspeakers, groove modulation, stray electrical fields and mechanical energy from moving parts. Weighing 26kg is significant in relation to its size as density matters. The main and sub-chassis plate thicknesses are 16mm and resists flexing at low frequencies whilst high frequency resonance is attenuated by efficient extensional damping. In addition to a cartridge’s electrical output, mirror image acoustic signals reacted in the tonearm and record, will pass into the sub-chassis in the course of dissipation. However, the usual closed loop design does not address the problem of their differing phase, so in the Model 20 the structural interfaces concerned have received special attention to provide paths of the required impedance. This control of vibration is fundamental to the design of the Model 20 and goes a long way to explaining the stunning tonal and dynamic neutrality that it exhibits.PLATTERThe platter is machined from aluminium alloy and weighs 6.5kg. Extensionally dampened and the top surface iso-damp mat is diamond-turned with a fine scroll for acoustic performance. This method of finishing upsets a myriad of tiny fibres which interface with the underside of the vinyl record. A substantial record clamp operating on the reflex principle ensures the largest possible platter contact even when appreciable record warp is present.MOTORThe Model 20 turntable is driven by a custom made bi-phase AC synchronous motor controlled by a highly advanced speed control unit providing precise speed accuracy and stability. The motor conforms to the highest standards of silent running.SPEED CONTROLThe Speed Control Unit uses a dedicated DSP engine to generate two independent pure mathematical sine waves which provide total control of frequency, phase relationship and amplitude. These in turn are matched (tuned) to the motor for accuracy to obtain the best possible performance. The speed range is 33.33 and 45 rpm with independent memory settings via a switched encoder. Fine pitch speed increments/decrements of +/-0.01% of the selected speed are made by a rotary control on the Speed Control Unit fascia. The SCU case is CNC machined from billet polymer resin with machined aluminium fascia, chassis base and rear panel.POWER UNITAn independent mains Power Unit keeps the transformer separated from the Speed Control Unit and importantly away from the audio signal cables.

All tonearm options come complete with internal Crystal Cable wiring as standard.CONSTRUCTIONThe MK2 Model 15 is a precision turntable made to exacting engineering standards for high performance. The chassis and sub-chassis are CNC machined from premium grade aluminium billet. The sub-chassis suspended suspension system provides definitive resonance control and houses the main bearing, platter and tonearm. Three fully adjustable feet are mechanically de-coupled from the main chassis by isolators providing base resonance control. The main spindle is 19mm (3/4″) precision machined from high chrome tool steel, ground, super finished and supported in a sealed housing with individually fitted sintered bronze bearings of generous proportions needed for precise bearing and platter rotation.SUSPENSIONThe Model 15 sub-chassis is suspended on 30 purpose made suspension rings and weighs together with the platter more than 11kg (24lb), thus meeting all the requirements of high-density construction required to enable a dynamic sound free from colouration.DUMPINGSub-chassis motion is controlled by a central fluid damper which offers a resistive ground path for acoustic signals, eliminates overshoot and gives almost zero ‘Q’ recovery.PLATTERThe platter is machined from aluminium alloy and weighs over 4.6kg (10lb). The platter is extensionally dampened and the top surface iso-damp is diamond-turned with a fine scroll for acoustic performance. This method of finishing upsets a myriad of tiny fibres which Interface with the underside of the vinyl record. The mmf-3.3 embodies the culmination of over 30 years of research, development, and most important of all, listening. The 3-speed belt driven table was developed for those seeking a perfectly matched set of features with an uncompromising focus on sound performance. The 3.3 is constructed using high quality components and comes complete with a tonearm, cartridge mounted, and dust cover.Speed ControlThe 3.3 has a built-in electronic speed control for 33/45/and 78. The platter speed switches from 33 to 45 rpm at the touch of a button. 78 rpm requires the movement of the belt to a different location on the motor pulley, and the use of a different belt, included with the turntable.Carbon Fiber Arm with Bonded Alloy HeadshellThis tonearm is unique to music hall. Bonding the alloy headshell to the carbon arm-tube stiffens and dampens the carbon fiber tube. This construction significantly improves the sound and performance over similar looking one-piece carbon arms. The alloy headshell allows you to securely mount the cartridge to the tonearm without the twist and flex that is common in lesser one-piece carbon arms. Tonearms should not twist/flex as this negatively impacts the cartridge and tonearm’s ability to properly track the record groove. On many one-piece carbon tonearms, you can literally pinch the cartridge end of arm between your thumb and forefinger and twist/flex the arm-tube. Try this with the music hall and the tonearm remains rigid as your fingers begin to ache. The arm itself is housed in a 4-point gimbal bearing construction using Swiss ABEC bearings. This is superior to many of music hall’s competitors who use a lesser 2-point bearing system.Feature List:Music Hall’s unique dual-plinth design – isolating the electronics and motor from the main bearing and tonearm33⅓, 45, or 78rpm speeds at the touch of a buttonElectronic speed controlled DC motor for superior speed stability, isolated on lower plinthCustom carbon fiber tonearm with alloy headshell for superb tracking abilityFlexible internal tonearm wire drawn from high purity copperCounterweight’s center of gravity is level with the stylus tip is decoupled from the arm and acts as a resonance damperHighly regarded Ortofon 2M Red cartridge with replaceable elliptical stylusThe cartridge supplied is properly aligned and mountedHigh precision stainless steel and bronze main bearing assembly for quiet fluid operationSpecial vibration damping adjustable feetHigh quality gold RCA connectors with detachable phono cableFull-size alloy platter and felt matQuick and easy to assembleDust cover and 45rpm adaptor included

mmf-11.3 TurntableWe are never still at Music Hall. We’re always seeking to improve upon our past successes and push the limit of what’s possible with each product we design. The Music Hall 11.3 represents the culmination of years of R&D and is the finest example of our design philosophy.Unique TechnologyWe made significant changes to the motor assembly and its placement. The motor now sits on its own isolation platform separate from the turntable. This alteration and other changes to the overall size of the table has significantly elevated the performance and sound of the 11.3. It’s our finest achievement to date.Vibration dampingMoving the main bearing to the second plinth improved cartridge tracking and significantly lowered background noise. The adjustable magnetic-levitation isolation feet and all wiring are mounted on the bottom plinth.—The material used for the hemispheres which separate each of the four main plinths and provide additional vibration damping has been refined and improved. A TPE material is now used, custom designed for music hall, which is able to isolate all the plinth-layers more efficiently. The bottom plinth functions as a mass-loaded resonant sink for the entire turntable.Features List:music hall’s unique quadruple-plinth design with improved TPE vibration isolationnew freestanding and completely isolated motor assemblydual motor and flywheel assembly is located on the center left side of the turntable eliminating all motor and belt vibration from the cartridgeone-piece 9cc Evolution carbon fiber tonearmtonearm uses hardened Swiss ABEC 7 ball races in inverted bearingtonearm is internally wired with flexible wire drawn from high purity copper with only two contact points from cartridge to output connectorscounterweight’s center of gravity is level with the stylus tip is decoupled from the arm and acts as a resonance damperfully adjustable VTA, azimuth, and dampened arm liftexclusive microprocessor electronic speed control with dual motor single flywheel drive system33 1/3 and 45rpm speed change at the touch of a buttonadjustable magnetic-levitation feetinverted ceramic main bearing for ultra-quiet operation7.4lbs (3.35kg) acrylic platterdetachable phono cablehigh quality gold-plated RCA connectorsdisplay-style large removable acrylic dust coverpacked securely in a substantial wood boxexcellent instruction manual and easy assembly
