The tempo can be clocked internally or via MIDI.  LX Mini Arpeggiator Controls Double Up: Part 2 Part 2 is a unique performance feature for momentary setup changes: While playing, press one of the dedicated “Part 2” buttons to momentarily shift the octave up or down, transpose, layer another octave on top, switch to another MIDI channel altogether – or any combination of these features. The instant you let go of the buttons, Impact LX Mini reverts back to its original settings. What’s more, any note that was played prior to pressing “Part 2” will keep playing at the original settings – so you could play and hold some really low bass notes, while playing a solo over the top. This is where Part Two comes in: While playing, simply press one of the dedicated “Part 2” buttons and momentarily shift the octave up or down, transpose, layer another octave on top – or switch to another MIDI channel altogether. The instant you let go of the buttons, Impact GX Mini reverts back to its original settings. What’s more, any note that was played prior to pressing “Part 2” will keep playing at the original settings – so you could play and hold some really low bass notes, while playing a solo over the top. A great performance feature! GX Mini even has a footswitch connector, so you can connect a sustain pedal. PLUG IN AND PLAY! The Nektar SE49 and SE61USB MIDI controller keyboards have all the features you need to start making music with your computer. The SE Series is compatible with any MIDI music software, sports a full-size keyboard with velocity, includes all the performance controls you’d expect and even has Nektar DAW control features. Simply plug the supplied USB-cable in and go: Capture your ideas while they are fresh! PLAY The keys are a keyboard controller’s most important feature. So we made sure that the SE models have keys that are fun and expressive to play: Their synth-action keybeds have 49 or 61 velocity-sensitive full-size keys with a defined and firm feel.  And as every player has their own playing style and preferences, we have included a choice of 4 different velocity curves (plus 3 fixed ones) so you can adjust the keyboard response to your needs. PERFORM No matter if you want to play a complex solo in the style of Herbie Hancock or are just trying to make an EDM wobble bass more lively by adding modulation: the SE’s large Pitch Bend and Modulation Wheels will get you there. They have a tight grip and offer just the right resistance. For piano-style sustain effects, you can connect a switch or pedal to the foot switch socket on the back of the SE49 and SE61. CONTROL Four buttons and one MIDI-assignable fader to the left of the keys make the SE range MIDI Controllers even more flexible: Shift the keyboard up or down -3/+4 octaves with multi-colored LED indicators showing the exact status. Or transpose the keys +/- 12 semitones with the transpose buttons right below.  These buttons can easily be reassigned to switch MIDI channel, change MIDI programs or select tracks and browse patches when DAW integration is active. Better still, pressing a key combination change the Octave and Transpose buttons function to send out MMC transport functions so you can activate start, stop and record directly from your keyboard. CUSTOM MIDI ASSIGNMENTS Take control a notch further: Most soft- and hardware products with MIDI have their parameters assigned to so-called MIDI CC messages. This lets you do cool things such as changing filter cutoff, panning, effects bypass or any other parameter that has a MIDI CC assigned to it from a hardware control on your SE49. Simply set the MIDI Fader, Modulation Wheel or foot switch pedal to control the MIDI CC message you want. Your assignments are stored over power cycling, so next time you can continue where you left off right away. CONTROL YOUR DAW How about getting a better workflow without any of this nerdy stuff? If you choose Latch, pressing any pad will cause its assigned note to repeat without having to hold down the Note Repeat button.  Built-in Arpeggiator Arpeggiators help add excitement and movement to music quickly and easily. The built-in Arpeggiator on the Oxygen 61 (MKV) with Type, Octave, Gate and Swing controls will creatively affect anything you are playing on the keys from any virtual instrument in your DAW. When the Arpeggiator is activated, the keyboard will repeatedly play the keys that are pressed in the selected sequence. The arpeggiator’s timing and rhythm is based on the keyboard’s time division setting in either the keyboard’s tempo, or your DAW’s tempo setting. Each note in the arpeggio will be the length selected for the time division setting. For example, if you select 1/4, each note in the arpeggio will be audible in quarter note increments. This powerful tool can operate in Latch or Momentary mode, making it easy to unleash your creativity. Smart Controls Smart Chord and Smart Scale technology are the bridges between your musically creative mind and your final productions. The Smart Chord feature helps bring out your inner musical genius by playing full chords with a single key press, and with the Smart Scale feature, the Oxygen 25 (MKV) keys transform into a perfect scale, playing the exact notes within a chosen scale. With Smart Chord and Smart Scale technology, creating music and unleashing your unlimited creativity has never been easier. With Smart Chord activated, pressing a single key will play a full chord rather than just one note. The key you press will determine the root note in the chord. The rest of the chord’s properties (Major, Minor, and Voicing) are determined by the settings you choose. Smart Chord also has a Custom Mode which lets you determine the chord structure that will be assigned to each key by manually playing it. For example, if you select Custom Mode, and play a 1-b3-5-b7 chord, every key will then be assigned to play this chord structure. The note of the key you press will serve as the root of the chord and all the parameters can be edited right on your Oxygen keyboard controller. The Oxygen series also features intelligent Smart Scale technology. With Smart Scale, you can set the keybed so that only notes in the selected scale are able to be played. This allows you to play within a chosen scale without the risk of playing any wrong notes. You can choose from over 15 different scale variations when assigning a scale to the keyboard. With Smart Scale controls right on the keys, you will have easy access to set and change Smart Scale parameters on the fly, keeping you focused on what is most important, creating music. Auto-Mapping for Creative DAW Control Using the Oxygen 61 (MKV) controller with any DAW is incredibly easy. The controls such as Transport, Faders, Pan, Record Arm, Solo, Mute, Select and many more, are automatically mapped to most DAWs for a fluid workflow.
