Music that defines your home
Evo One replaces both the hi-fi system and the living room soundbar, without looking like a speaker. The walnut finish, the acoustic fabric grille wrapping the front and sides and the large 6.8-inch (17 cm) colour display at its centre make an object you want in the middle of the room, not hidden away.
Fourteen drivers, 700 watts
Each of the fourteen drivers has its own 50 W RMS amplifier stage, for more than 700 W in total. Six 7 cm long-throw woofers deliver deep, realistic bass down to 38 Hz with no separate subwoofer, while the remaining drivers handle mids and highs with detail and clarity.
360-degree sound
The drivers are arranged around the whole body of the unit, so music spreads out in 360 degrees and reaches every part of the room evenly. There is no single correct listening seat: the sound stays full and balanced whether you sit opposite it or move around, which makes Evo One ideal for open-plan rooms and for company.
An object, not a box
It is built like a piece of furniture: a solid face, careful detailing and materials that age well. Evo One sits on a console, on a shelf or on its own stand and delivers from one spot in the living room what would otherwise take three or four separate components and all their cabling.
High-resolution streaming
The built-in network player gives access to Qobuz Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, Spotify Connect and internet radio, as well as your own library from any server on the local network. Music reaches the unit wirelessly over AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Roon or Bluetooth, from an iPhone, Android phone, tablet or computer, with no setup.
Hi-Res from any source
The USB-A port accepts a memory stick or external drive, and the powerful internal DAC handles ALAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, DSD, WMA, MP3, AAC, HE AAC, AAC+ and OGG. PCM files play up to 32-bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256, so high-resolution recordings are genuinely delivered rather than merely supported on paper.
And in other rooms
With AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, Evo One joins a group with other speakers or devices and plays in sync across several rooms. You can listen to the same album throughout the house or different music in each space, controlled from the same phone.
One app for everything
The StreamMagic app brings the services into a single search, keeps your favourites and switches source with one tap. Software updates arrive over the network and add new services and features over time, so the unit stays current years after you buy it.
Home entertainment, rethought
The HDMI eARC input connects your TV and makes Evo One the sound centre of the living room: films, series and sport gain weight, clear dialogue and dynamics beyond any soundbar in its class. Alongside it there is an optical input for older devices, while the built-in phono stage accepts a turntable directly, with no separate pre-amp.
Tuned to your room
The StreamMagic app adds a 7-band equaliser and ready-made DSP presets, plus modes that automatically adapt the sound to where the unit sits in the room, close to a wall or free-standing. Bass then integrates with the space instead of overloading it.
Control as you prefer
The display shows artwork, titles and track information, or classic needle VU meters for a more retro look. Control comes from the screen and the front panel buttons, from the supplied infrared remote or from the StreamMagic app on iOS and Android.
Fewer boxes, more music
TV, turntable, streaming and USB files live together in one unit that needs no rack, no speaker cable and no separate amplifier. For anyone who wants real hi-fi sound without filling the living room with equipment, this is the cleanest solution Cambridge Audio currently offers.
