Naim's Most Sophisticated All-in-One System

The Naim Mu-so Utopia is the most sophisticated all-in-one audio system Naim has ever designed. It combines high-resolution streaming, hi-fi performance and immersive sound in a compact format: 720 W of total power, 15 drivers and Dolby Atmos® compatibility, bringing out every detail in music, films, concerts and games.

The Utopia Philosophy

Utopia is a philosophy: constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation, performance and musical emotion. The Mu-so Utopia embodies this vision and bears its name. The Mu-so Utopia combines Naim's electronics know-how with Focal's high-end acoustic expertise.

A Signature Design

Elegant and compact, with a black anodised aluminium casing, refined finishes and the distinctive red Utopia signature. It sits easily on a unit or cabinet and comes with a black fabric grille. Control is via the touch interface and the rotary volume control with proximity sensor.

720 W and 15 Drivers

The Mu-so Utopia brings together the very best of Naim's know-how and Focal's high-end acoustic expertise. Class AB amplification for the tweeters and Class D for the other drivers delivers a combined 720 W to 15 drivers, for both power and precision.

W Cones and PRISM Tweeters

At the front, three woofers handle the bass, two midranges with Focal's M-shaped W cone the mids and two new-generation PRISM tweeters the highs. Four full-range drivers on top and two pairs on the sides spread the sound around the room for an immersive image.

Harmony at Every Level

Advanced power management keeps the whole system in harmony, while the Naim Pulse Platform with Naim DSP and the aluminium heatsink ensure stable, clean performance. Every element is reproduced faithfully, dynamically and with emotion, up to a 109 dB peak SPL.

Dolby Atmos and ADAPT

With Dolby Atmos® technology, films, series and concerts take on a new dimension: a rich, immersive soundscape envelops you, from stereo music to Atmos content.

Modes for Every Purpose

In the Focal & Naim app you choose and customise Dolby Movie, Dolby Music, Sphere Music, Sphere Movie, Sphere Gaming and Sphere Podcast modes. Night mode, available in all of them, gives controlled yet striking sound even late at night.

ADAPT Calibration

With Focal's patented ADAPT (Adaptive Acoustic Personal Tuning) technology, you simply enter the distances between the system, walls, ceiling and listening area. ADAPT intelligently calibrates the sound to your room, for balanced, immersive acoustics in every mode.

All Your Sources in One System

The Mu-so Utopia brings all your content together: music streaming, TV via HDMI eARC, games console, CD or Blu-ray via the optical input. It supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Bluetooth®, Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Presto Music and more, all in one ecosystem.

Hi-Res up to 384 kHz

It plays files up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD128, and accepts Dolby Atmos from Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL and Presto Music. Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit Ethernet keep streaming stable, and the subwoofer output lets you extend the bass.

Simple, Connected, Versatile

With the Focal & Naim app you control the system, your content and sound settings, while widgets on phone and tablet give instant access to key functions. It joins a multiroom setup with up to 32 Focal & Naim streamers and integrates easily into home automation.
