Motu UltraLite mk5 Half Rack Mounting Kit

Motu UltraLite MK5

Best-in-class audio qualityThe Motu UltraLite-mk5 is an 18-in / 22-out USB-C audio interface in a compact half-rack chassis for Mac, Windows and iOS. ESS Sabre32 converters (ES9026PRO DAC) deliver a measured 125 dB dynamic range and −114 dB THD+N, while two mic preamps measuring −129 dBu EIN offer individual gain, −20 dB pad and 48 V phantom power. MOTU drivers deliver round-trip latency of just 2.4 ms (96 kHz, 32-sample buffer).DSP mixing, effects and full connectivityThe built-in DSP mixer, controlled by the CueMix 5 app on your computer or iOS device, offers parametric EQ, compression and reverb for zero-latency monitor mixes. Two front combo inputs, six balanced line inputs, ten balanced outputs, ADAT/S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF on RCA, MIDI in/out and loopback for livestreaming cover every need. An OLED display shows levels and status, and MOTU Performer Lite software with over 6 GB of loops and sounds is included.

Motu OctaLite

Eight inputs and a full DSP mixerThe Motu OctaLite is a 16-in / 12-out, 192 kHz USB audio interface in a compact, half-rack steel chassis. It offers eight combo XLR/TRS mic/line/instrument inputs (two on the front, six on the rear) with Burr-Brown op-amp preamps, up to +74 dB of gain, −129 dBu EIN and individual 48 V phantom power on every channel. The onboard DSP mixer provides ultra-low-latency hardware monitoring without loading your computer, independent headphone and monitor mixes and three virtual mix buses, with reverb, 4-band parametric EQ, compression and gating on inputs and buses. Everything is controlled from the CueMix 5 app on Mac, PC or iOS, and several phones and tablets can adjust mixes simultaneously over Wi-Fi.Interface, standalone mixer or optical expanderThe OctaLite also works as a standalone mixer, with or without a computer, or as an optical expander, adding eight mic/line/instrument inputs to an UltraLite-mk5 or another audio interface over a single optical cable at up to 96 kHz. ESS Sabre32 Ultra converters give the balanced outputs 125 dB of dynamic range, and the outputs are DC-coupled to send CV to modular synths. Loopback for livestreaming and podcasting, a high-resolution OLED display with metering for all analog I/O, and MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live Lite with over 6 GB of loops and sounds are included. It rack-mounts side by side with an UltraLite-mk5 or a second OctaLite in a single rack space (mounting kit sold separately).

Motu M6

Best-in-class sound and speedThe Motu M6 is a 6-in / 4-out USB-C audio interface with the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology found in far more expensive interfaces: 120 dB dynamic range on the main outputs, headphone outputs also driven by ESS converters, and mic preamps with −129 dBu EIN. It offers four combo XLR/TRS mic/line/guitar inputs, each with independent gain and 48 V phantom power, plus two balanced line inputs. MOTU drivers deliver just 2.5 ms round-trip latency (96 kHz, 32-sample buffer), and the full-colour LCD shows clear level meters for all inputs and outputs.A/B speakers, stand-alone operation and loopbackThe M6 is the only interface in its class with an A/B switch for two pairs of studio monitors. Both headphone outputs have independent volume, and the second can monitor a separate mix from outputs 3-4. With the included power adapter it also works without a computer for monitoring live inputs. Loopback lets you mix computer audio with up to four mics for livestreaming and podcasting. A metal chassis, MIDI in/out and MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live Lite software with over 6 GB of loops complete the package.
