Triple laser, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision
The Hisense C3 uses a triple RGB laser: three separate lasers for red, green and blue, with no colour wheel. This delivers 110% BT.2020 coverage with 10-bit processing, for colours that are rich yet natural, from skin tones to the bold palette of animation.
Brightness and contrast
2,500 ANSI lumens give a bright picture even at large sizes, while 2,000:1 native contrast keeps dark areas deep and full of detail. 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 4K upscaling ensure a sharp image from every source, from streaming to 4K Blu-ray. The Cinema modes give a balanced picture for films without manual adjustment.
HDR and certifications for film lovers
The C3 supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG and is IMAX Enhanced certified, so titles in that format are shown as intended. Filmmaker Mode switches off unnecessary processing to respect the director's intent, while MEMC and Sport mode help with live matches. The laser source is rated for 25,000 hours, with no lamps to replace and no bulbs to budget for.
Gimbal, optical zoom and up to 300"
The C3 projects an image from 65 to 300 inches. As a guide, an 85-inch image needs a distance of about 1.88 to 2.44 m, and a 125-inch image about 2.77 to 3.60 m, depending on the zoom position. This flexibility suits both a medium living room and a larger dedicated cinema room.
Gimbal stand for any room
The built-in gimbal stand lets you aim the projector at a wall, a screen or the ceiling, with no extra mounts. It can sit on furniture, on an optional floor stand or on a ceiling mount, depending on the room.
Optical zoom and AI auto adjustments
1.3x optical zoom (throw ratio 1.0 to 1.3:1) changes the image size without losing resolution, so there is no need to shift the unit by a few centimetres. AI-driven automatic adjustments handle focus, geometry correction, obstacle avoidance and fitting the image to the screen, while wall colour adaptation corrects colours when projecting straight onto a wall. Automatic eye protection dims the beam if someone approaches the lens, a sensible safeguard in family homes.
JBL sound, VIDAA U9 and 240 Hz gaming
The C3 has built-in JBL 2 x 10 W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X, providing spacious sound without an external system. For a larger room, the HDMI eARC port and the optical output make it easy to add a soundbar or a home cinema amplifier. The equaliser and the Cinema, Music, Voice and Night modes adapt the sound to the content and the time of day.
VIDAA U9 smart platform
The VIDAA U9 operating system offers popular streaming apps, a web browser, voice control via the voice remote and AirPlay 2 for casting from Apple devices. It also supports DLNA, screen sharing and integration with Control4 home automation systems.
Gaming and connectivity
Two HDMI 2.1 ports with ALLM accept consoles and players, with 4K at 60 Hz and 2K up to 240 Hz. In Game Mode, input lag is 20 ms or less for a responsive feel. There are also two USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, plus 3D support. With 180 W power consumption and 28 dB operating noise, it stays discreet in use, even during quiet film scenes.
