Hisense C3 Ultra

The Hisense C3 Ultra is Hisense's new compact 4K projector for 2026, built on DLP technology with an RGB triple laser light source. It delivers 4,000 ANSI lumens (5,000 ISO lumens), 5,000:1 contrast with the CineBlack-Pro IRIS system and 118% BT.2020 colour coverage, with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG support, IMAX Enhanced certification and Filmmaker Mode. It projects images from 65 to 300 inches.

It is aimed at anyone who wants a large, cinema-grade picture without a permanent installation: in the living room, the bedroom or even onto the ceiling. The built-in gimbal stand, optical zoom (0.9 to 1.5:1 throw ratio) and lens shift of ±100% vertical and ±35% horizontal make placement easy, while the Devialet-designed 2.1-channel sound system with built-in subwoofer, the VIDAA U9 platform and gaming at up to 240 Hz in Full HD make it a complete entertainment solution.

Triple laser 4K picture with HDR

At the heart of the Hisense C3 Ultra is an RGB triple laser light source, with separate lasers for red, green and blue. This lets the projector reach 118% of the BT.2020 colour space and deliver rich, clean colours without the colour wheel of conventional designs. 10-bit colour with 1.07 billion shades gives smooth gradations, without visible banding in skies and shadows.

4,000 ANSI lumens for any time of day

With 4,000 ANSI lumens (5,000 ISO lumens) of brightness, the picture stays vivid even in a moderately lit room, while the ambient light sensor adjusts output automatically. 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) keeps the image detailed even on screens of 120 inches and beyond.

Cinema-grade contrast and HDR

The CineBlack-Pro IRIS system adjusts light scene by scene for 5,000:1 contrast and deeper blacks. The C3 Ultra supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, is IMAX Enhanced certified and offers Filmmaker Mode, so films look the way the director intended. MEMC processing smooths motion in sports, while 4K upscaling improves lower-resolution content.

Flexible placement up to 300 inches

The Hisense C3 Ultra is designed to be moved around easily. The built-in gimbal stand rotates 360° horizontally and tilts vertically, so you can project onto a wall, a screen or even the bedroom ceiling without extra mounts.

Optical zoom and lens shift

The 0.9 to 1.5:1 throw ratio with 1.67x optical zoom lets you adjust the image size without moving the unit. Lens shift of ±100% vertical and ±35% horizontal keeps full 4K resolution, unlike digital correction. Image size ranges from 65 to 300 inches, depending on distance. At 8 kg and with a compact body, it moves easily from room to room or out to the terrace for movie nights.

Automatic adjustments

Once switched on, the projector focuses automatically, corrects geometry (automatically or at 9 points), avoids obstacles such as furniture or frames and fits the image to the screen frame. Wall colour adaptation corrects the picture when no white surface is available, and automatic eye protection dims the light when someone approaches the lens.

Devialet sound, VIDAA and gaming

The C3 Ultra has a built-in 2.1-channel sound system designed with Devialet, with 2 × 10 W + 2 × 8 W of output plus a 20 W subwoofer. It supports DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio for full sound without external speakers. For larger systems there is HDMI eARC, an optical output and WiSA compatibility.

VIDAA U9 smart platform

The VIDAA U9 operating system gives direct access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and many other streaming apps. Voice control works with Alexa or VIDAA Voice, while AirPlay 2 and DLNA make it easy to cast from a phone or computer. Control4 support is included for smart homes, along with Bluetooth for headphones, a mouse or a keyboard.

Gaming and connectivity

For gaming, the projector supports 4K at 60 Hz and Full HD up to 240 Hz, with ALLM and Xbox Cloud Gaming. It offers 2 HDMI 2.1, 2 USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for connecting a console, a streaming device or headphones. Game Mode reduces latency, and 3D support adds another option for films.
