Hisense C3 Ultra Max

The Hisense C3 Ultra Max is the flagship of the new C3 series for 2026: a compact 4K projector with a 0.47" DLP chip and an RGB triple laser light source. With 5,000 ANSI lumens, 5,000:1 contrast with IRIS, 118% BT.2020 coverage and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode, it delivers a bright, accurate picture from 65 to 300 inches, even in rooms that are not fully dark.

It is built for those who want maximum flexibility: the gimbal stand rotates 360° and tilts from -40° to +220°, while 2x optical zoom (0.85 to 1.7:1 throw ratio) and lens shift of ±120% vertical and ±47% horizontal allow placement almost anywhere. Devialet 2.1 sound with subwoofer, liquid cooling, VIDAA U9 and gaming up to 240 Hz with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium complete a full home cinema system in one unit.

5,000 ANSI lumens and triple laser

The Hisense C3 Ultra Max is the brightest projector in the C3 series. With 5,000 ANSI lumens, about 25% more than the C3 Ultra, the picture keeps its punch and colour even when the room is not fully dark or when projecting at very large sizes.

Pure colour from three lasers

The RGB triple laser light source uses separate lasers for red, green and blue, reaching 118% of the BT.2020 colour space. Combined with the 0.47" DLP chip and 4K resolution (3840 × 2160), the result is a detailed picture with depth and natural skin tones. 10-bit colour with 1.07 billion shades gives smooth gradations without banding.

HDR and contrast

The IRIS system adjusts light scene by scene for 5,000:1 contrast. The C3 Ultra Max supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, is IMAX Enhanced certified and offers Filmmaker Mode for faithful film reproduction. The light sensor adapts the picture to the room, while MEMC processing smooths motion in sports and series, and 4K upscaling refines lower-resolution sources.

Gimbal, 2x zoom and lens shift

The built-in gimbal stand of the C3 Ultra Max rotates 360° horizontally and tilts from -40° to +220° vertically. You can project onto a wall, a screen or the ceiling, with no mounts and no tools, and change position whenever you like.

The most flexible optics in the C3 series

2x optical zoom with a 0.85 to 1.7:1 throw ratio lets you choose an image size from 65 to 300 inches without moving the projector. Lens shift of ±120% vertical and ±47% horizontal moves the image optically while keeping full 4K resolution, which makes placement on a shelf, a cabinet or at the side of the room easy. Unlike digital keystone, optical shift does not reduce brightness or sharpness.

Automatic setup with ToF sensor

The 3D ToF sensor and auto focus set up the picture in seconds: keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, fitting to the screen frame and wall colour adaptation. Liquid cooling keeps performance stable during long sessions, with an operating noise level of up to 31 dB, and automatic eye protection dims the light when someone approaches the lens.

Devialet sound, 240 Hz gaming, VIDAA

The C3 Ultra Max integrates a 2.1-channel sound system designed with Devialet, with 2 × 10 W + 2 × 8 W plus a 20 W subwoofer. It supports DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio and delivers full sound without external speakers. To connect it to a home cinema system there is HDMI eARC, an optical output and WiSA SoundSend.

Gaming up to 240 Hz

For gamers, the projector supports 4K at 60 Hz and Full HD up to 240 Hz, VRR from 48 to 240 Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium and ALLM, with DLP-level latency of up to 1 ms. The two HDMI 2.1 inputs serve a console and a streaming device at the same time.

VIDAA U9 and connectivity

VIDAA U9 offers Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and many more apps, with Alexa voice control, AirPlay 2 and Control4 support. Connection is via Wi-Fi 7, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.4, plus two USB 3.0 ports for media playback and a headphone output for listening without disturbing others. 3D support and 4K upscaling round out the options for films.
