Hisense 120L9QD Laser TV

The Hisense 120L9QD Laser TV is a complete home cinema set that pairs the flagship Hisense L9Q 4K Ultra Short Throw projector with a 120-inch ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) projection screen. The projector sits on a cabinet a few centimetres in front of the screen, and its TriChroma triple RGB laser light source delivers 5,000 ANSI lumens, 5,000:1 contrast and 110% BT.2020 coverage, with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced. The ALR screen reduces the effect of room lighting, so the picture stays clear in a lit living room.

It is aimed at anyone who wants a 120-inch picture in place of a TV, without a ceiling mount or a separate sound system. The L9Q integrates a 116 W 6.2.2-channel sound system developed with Devialet, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the VIDAA smart platform and gaming at up to 240 Hz through two HDMI 2.1 ports, while Auto Screen Alignment automatically matches the picture to the screen.

Triple laser, HDR and cinema colour

At the heart of the Hisense L9Q is the TriChroma light source, with separate lasers for red, green and blue. With no colour wheel or phosphor, each primary colour is produced directly, allowing 110% coverage of the BT.2020 colour space and accurate skin tones, backed by Pantone Validated certification.

5,000 ANSI lumens and 5,000:1 contrast

A brightness of 5,000 ANSI lumens gives the picture the punch to keep colours vivid even when the room is not completely dark. Native contrast of 5,000:1 and 10-bit colour add depth to dark scenes and smooth gradation in skies and shadows.

Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced

The L9Q supports all the main HDR formats: Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, plus IMAX Enhanced certification. Filmmaker Mode presents films the way their directors intended, without extra processing. The 0.47" DLP chip with XPR technology delivers 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, and the laser light source is rated for up to 25,000 hours, with no lamp replacements and consistent performance for years.

Bundle with a 120-inch ALR screen

The Hisense 120L9QD Laser TV pairs the Hisense L9Q Ultra Short Throw projector with a 120-inch ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) projection screen designed for Ultra Short Throw projectors. The ALR screen reduces the effect of room lighting, so the picture keeps its contrast and colour saturation even in a living room that is not blacked out.

No ceiling mount needed

With a 0.18:1 throw ratio, the projector sits on a low cabinet a few centimetres in front of the wall where the screen is mounted. There is no ceiling mount, no cables running across the room, and nobody blocks the beam by walking past. The result is a 120-inch picture in place of a TV, with far less bulk than a flat panel of the same size.

Automatic alignment with the screen

The L9Q's Auto Screen Alignment detects the edges of the screen and adjusts the picture to fill it precisely, while Auto Screen Fit and keystone correction make final adjustments easier. An eye protection sensor dims the light when someone approaches the beam.

Devialet sound, VIDAA and 240 Hz gaming

The L9Q does not need an external sound system to deliver cinema sound. It integrates a 6.2.2-channel system with 10 speakers and 116 W total power, developed with Devialet in the special Opéra de Paris edition. Two subwoofers anchor the bass and two height channels support immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound.

VIDAA smart platform

The VIDAA operating system gives direct access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Disney+, while AirPlay 2 and screen sharing let you cast content from a phone, tablet or Mac. Built-in DVB-T2/C/S2 tuners also cover broadcast TV.

Gaming and connectivity

For gaming, the L9Q supports up to 240 Hz at 2K, ALLM and input lag of up to 20 ms, dropping to 12 ms in Turbo 1080p 120 Hz mode. It offers two HDMI 2.1 ports for consoles and PCs, two HDMI 2.0 ports with one eARC for a soundbar or amplifier, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB-C, optical output, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth. Four HDMI inputs let a console, a player and a set-top box stay connected at the same time, with no external switch.
