24-bit/192kHz DAC

The Tangent PreAmp III preamp is designed to preamp all your sources. Its analogue section consists of an RCA input and a mini-jack auxiliary input to connect a CD player or a walkman, for example. The RCA input is switchable between a line and a phono level, allowing a moving coil turntable to be connected to it. The digital section of the Tangent PreAmp III preamp provides an optical input. This allows you to connect a network player or a television, for example. The Tangent PreAmp III preamp uses a Cirrus Logic CS4344 DAC to ensure optimal music conversion up to a very high resolution of 24 bits / 192 kHz.

Bluetooth 5.1 aptX-HD

The Tangent PreAmp III incorporates a latest-generation Bluetooth 5.1 module, aptX-HD compatible, to offer wireless streaming with a quality almost equivalent to that of a CD. This codec allows the transmission of audio streams up to 24 bits/48 kHz, guaranteeing a detailed and nuanced reproduction, without destructive compression. Controls and remote control

The Tangent PreAmp III preamp offers a simple and smooth user experience, true to the Danish manufacturer's minimalist philosophy. The sleek front panel brings together the essentials: a precise knob to adjust the volume, dedicated buttons for selecting sources, and an easily accessible headphone jack. The comfort of use is extended with the supplied remote control, which allows you to control all the functions remotely: volume adjustment, choice of source, activation of Bluetooth or adjustment of the equalizer. An auto-start function also detects the active source, avoiding unnecessary manipulation.

RCA and XLR output

The Tangent PreAmp III hi-fi preamp provides an unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR output, allowing it to be adapted to any type of power amplifier. A subwoofer output is also included for connecting a subwoofer. Adding to this versatility is a 12V trigger output, which is convenient for synchronizing the automatic ignition of an amplifier or other compatible device. As soon as the preamplifier is switched on, the trigger signal activates the associated electronics, simplifying the daily operation of the system.
