Tangent HiFi III Bundle

The Tangent HiFi III Bundle is a complete, compact stereo system from Danish brand Tangent. It brings together a preamplifier, power amplifier, CD player and radio tuner, all in the same 20 cm format. It's made for anyone who wants a full separates hi-fi system without taking up space, whether in the living room, on a desk or in a TV cabinet.

Four components, one system

The PreAmp III is the heart of the system, handling the CD III, the Tuner III, a turntable (the RCA input switches to phono), a TV or streamer via optical, and your phone via Bluetooth. The PowerAmpster III supplies the power, the CD III plays your disc collection and the Tuner III adds internet radio, DAB/DAB+ and FM. All four share the same look with aluminium front panels, and stack or sit side by side on a shelf.

Power and modern features

The PowerAmpster III delivers 2 x 100 W into 4 ohms, or 1 x 200 W into 8 ohms in bridged mode, enough for most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. The PreAmp III features a Cirrus Logic DAC up to 24-bit/192 kHz, Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD for high-quality wireless listening, tone controls and a front headphone output. A subwoofer output makes the system easy to expand.

Easy to live with

The preamp connects to the power amp via RCA or balanced XLR, and a 12 V trigger output switches the power amp on automatically. Both wake from standby when they detect a signal. The CD III plays gapless, with no pauses between tracks, and has an optical output for an external DAC. The whole system is controlled by remote.
