Compact 2 x 100 W power amplifier
The Tangent PowerAmpster III is an extremely compact power amplifier that delivers up to 2 x 100 W into 4 ohms while taking up very little space. It gives the ideal power for most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, in stereo or mono.
Power and musicality
Behind the clean design is a generous power supply that responds instantly to the dynamics of music and films, paired with a Class D output stage. It delivers up to 2 x 100 W into 4 ohms or, bridged, up to 200 W into 8 ohms, and can even drive a passive subwoofer.
RCA and XLR inputs
The thick metal chassis is rigid and shielded from interference. With unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs it connects to any preamp, though it works best with the Tangent PreAmp III. It wakes automatically when it detects a signal, or via trigger.
Compact size and design
At just 20 cm wide and 6.5 cm high, the PowerAmpster III keeps the series' signature small size and stacks neatly with the PreAmp III, CD III and Tuner III.
