It engages even the most complex rhythms and demanding dynamics with all the grip and authority you would expect from us.Its clever AV bypass mode, which facilitates an easy co-existence of otherwise distinct AV and hi-fi systems, simply adds to its appeal.Features:60W per channel power outputFour inputs with support for both DIN and RCA connections1/4” (6.35mm) headphone outputAV bypass mode for simple connection to an existing AV systemDecades have passed, but the role of the NAIT 5si is fundamentally the same as its original forebear. So the engineering challenge - to maximise performance whilst maintaining engineering efficiency, quality and reliability - hasn't changed. Amplifier technology has moved on considerably however, and while the NAIT 5si occupies the same position in the Naim Audio range as the original NAIT, its performance might be from a different world. The NAIT 5si provides four analogue inputs and a 60 Watt per channel power amplifier. It borrows numerous technologies from across the spectrum of Naim Audio products; all dedicated towards maximising its ability to communicate the fundamentals of music. And communicate it does. Denon 2 x 50 W network amplifier with HEOS, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and MM/MC phono.
The Denon PMA-900HNE is a 2 x 50 W network integrated amplifier with HEOS, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and MM/MC phono. It combines classic amplification with streaming and digital inputs in one elegant box.
A classic amplifier with a network heart
This integrated amplifier unites two worlds: Denon's traditional stereo amplification and the convenience of modern streaming. In a single unit you get an amplifier, phono stage, DAC and full network playback, with no need for extra boxes or cables on your shelf.
Advanced HC amplification
The output stage uses an Advanced High Current single push-pull circuit, with Darlington transistors in discrete construction. It delivers 50 W per channel into 8 ohms and 85 W per channel into 4 ohms, with the energy and control most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers need.
High-current power supply
A high-current dynamic power supply, together with large heat sinks, ensures the amplifier responds instantly to the dynamic demands of music, while separate windings and circuits for the microprocessor keep digital noise away from the audio signal.
Clean signal path
The variable gain preamplifier keeps noise low at normal listening levels, while Source Direct bypasses the tone circuits for the most direct delivery.
Elegant appearance
The aluminium front panel, rotary controls and discreet OLED display with adjustable brightness give the amplifier a clean, timeless look, measuring 434 x 131 x 376 mm and weighing 8.3 kg.
A matching pair
It was designed alongside the DCD-900NE CD player, with which it forms a complete system with a shared look.
Streaming with HEOS and AirPlay 2
The built-in HEOS platform turns the amplifier into a full network streamer. It connects via dual-band Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable and gives you access to your entire music world from your phone or tablet.
Streaming services
Through the HEOS app for iOS and Android you can access services such as Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Deezer, SoundCloud and TuneIn internet radio. Availability of some services varies by country.
High-resolution files
From your local server or a USB stick in the USB-A port, the amplifier plays FLAC and WAV up to 192 kHz/24-bit, ALAC up to 96 kHz/24-bit and DSD up to 5.6 MHz, with gapless playback between tracks.
AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth
With AirPlay 2 you stream music directly from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, while Bluetooth serves any compatible phone or tablet for quick, simple listening. Your guests can play their own music without any network setup.
Multi-room sound
As part of a HEOS or AirPlay 2 system, the amplifier can be synchronised with other speakers and components in the home, for the same music in several rooms or different music in each. Sound from its analogue or digital sources can also be shared with other zones of the home.
Voice control and Roon
It supports control with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri via AirPlay, and is certified Roon Tested for those who organise their collection with Roon.
Connections for every source
Beyond streaming, the amplifier has all the connections to become the centre of your living room, from turntable and CD player to TV and games console.
MM and MC phono
The built-in phono stage supports moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, so you can connect your turntable directly without an external preamplifier. Your vinyl collection thus sits happily alongside streaming, in the same unit.
Digital inputs
Three optical inputs and one coaxial input, up to 192 kHz/24-bit, accommodate a TV, CD player or console, so picture sound also passes through your amplifier and benefits from the same quality of amplification as your music sources.
Analogue inputs and speakers
RCA line inputs, a recorder output, two pairs of A/B speaker terminals compatible with banana plugs and a headphone output cover every combination. You can drive two pairs of speakers in different spaces or listen privately on headphones.
Comfortable control
The system remote also controls other Denon components, while IR learning lets you adjust volume from the TV remote. Bass and treble controls of ±8 dB and balance complete the controls.
Energy efficiency
Auto standby and low standby consumption of just 0.2 W ensure the amplifier is always ready without needless energy waste, consuming power only when you actually listen.
