Denon 2 x 45 W integrated amplifier with Bluetooth, digital inputs and MM phono.
The Denon PMA-600NE is a 2 x 45 W integrated amplifier with Bluetooth, digital inputs and MM phono. It is the ideal starting point for a proper hi-fi system, with clean sound from every source.
The starting point of proper hi-fi
This integrated amplifier is the ideal way to start a serious stereo system. Denon combines its long experience in analogue amplification with modern digital inputs and Bluetooth, in a unit that covers most everyday listening needs.
Advanced High Current amplification
The output stage is based on an Advanced High Current single push-pull circuit in discrete construction. This simple topology combines power with detail, delivering 45 W per channel into 8 ohms and 70 W per channel into 4 ohms.
High-current power supply
A high-current dynamic power supply, with Schottky diodes and solid heat sinks, gives the amplifier the energy it needs for dynamic peaks. The transformer has separate windings for the audio circuit and the control circuits, reducing interference.
Speakers that match
Wide-range amplification and low distortion make it suitable for compact bookshelf speakers as well as floorstanders, with impedances from 4 to 16 ohms.
Clean, classic look
The metal front panel, rotary controls and classic 434 mm width give the amplifier a timeless appearance. Weighing 6.8 kg with a depth of 308 mm, it fits easily on any cabinet.
Partner to the DCD-600NE
It was designed together with the DCD-600NE CD player, with which it forms an affordable, complete system with a shared look and a common remote.
Clean sound from every source
Beyond power, the amplifier pays particular attention to the purity of the signal path. Features such as Source Direct and Analog Mode let you enjoy every source with as little interference as possible.
MM phono for your turntable
The built-in phono stage for moving magnet cartridges lets you connect your turntable directly. With RIAA deviation of just ±0.5 dB, vinyl records are reproduced with correct tonal balance, with no need for an external phono preamplifier. It is the simplest route back to your vinyl collection.
Analog Mode
When you listen to analogue sources, such as a turntable or a CD player via RCA, Analog Mode switches off the digital section and Bluetooth entirely. Noise is reduced and the background becomes quieter, something especially noticeable in quiet passages and acoustic recordings.
Source Direct
Source Direct bypasses the tone circuits for the most direct signal path. When you need adjustment, bass and treble offer ±8 dB and there is a balance control.
Measurements
According to the manufacturer, the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 105 dB on the line inputs, with a frequency response from 5 Hz to 100 kHz, extending comfortably beyond the limits of hearing. This means a clean, calm background and accuracy across the audio band.
Private listening
The 6.35 mm headphone output on the front panel lets you listen without disturbing others, using the same quality of amplification.
Digital inputs and Bluetooth
The amplifier is ready to connect to all the modern sources in your home: TV, Blu-ray player, streamer and phone, with no extra devices.
Built-in DAC
Two optical and one coaxial digital input feed a DAC supporting up to 192 kHz/24-bit, for clean reproduction of your high-resolution digital sources. A streamer or CD player with digital output thus gains quality conversion without an external DAC.
Connecting to the TV
With the TV connected via an optical input, the amplifier can switch on automatically as soon as it detects a signal and switch off when it stops. The TV output must be set to PCM, as Dolby and DTS are not decoded.
Bluetooth
The built-in Bluetooth receiver accepts music directly from a phone, tablet or computer, with support for the SBC and AAC codecs, for quick and easy wireless listening. Ideal for letting guests play their own music too.
Analogue connections
Analogue line inputs for a CD player and other sources, a recorder input and output and one pair of speaker terminals cover all the basic needs of a stereo system, with gold-plated RCA terminals.
Practical control
The system remote also controls compatible Denon components, while auto power off limits needless energy consumption when the amplifier stays idle for a long time.
