The Denon Home Amp brings together everything needed to bring a pair of passive speakers to life in one compact unit: amplifier, network streamer and TV connection. It is the solution for anyone who wants the speakers of their choice to become part of a modern wireless system.
Compact dimensions
Measuring 217 x 86 x 234 mm and weighing about 2 kg, the Home Amp fits on a shelf, inside a TV cabinet or in an equipment cupboard. It takes up very little space compared with a traditional amplifier and source set-up.
For any kind of speaker
It can drive bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, in-ceiling and in-wall models or outdoor speakers. It handles loads from 4 to 16 ohms, so it works with a wide range of speakers you may already own.
Controls on the unit
On the amplifier itself are volume and playback buttons plus three Quick Select buttons for your favourite sources. A colour status LED shows the operating state at a glance.
Ideal for installations
The Home Amp works with Crestron, Control4 and AMX automation systems over the network, while a learning infrared input allows control from existing remotes. It is a valuable tool for smart home projects.

2 x 100 W into 8 ohms
The Class D amplification delivers 100 W per channel into 8 ohms across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz range, and 125 W per channel into 4 ohms. There is ample headroom for large rooms and demanding speakers.
High-resolution files
The amplifier plays FLAC, ALAC and WAV up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz, from a NAS or USB. Together with high-resolution streaming services, there is plenty to satisfy discerning listeners.
Sound settings on your phone
In the HEOS app you can adjust bass and treble by ±5 dB, channel balance, a volume limit and stereo or dual mono operation, tailoring the sound to your room and speakers. The volume limit is particularly useful in children's rooms or shared spaces.
Subwoofer output with filters
The subwoofer output comes with adjustable filters: a 40–250 Hz high-pass relieves the speakers of deep bass, while a 40–120 Hz low-pass ensures a smooth hand-over to the subwoofer. Even small speakers can sound full.
Sound modes
Stereo, Direct, Virtual, Dialog Enhancer and Night Mode cover everything from pure music listening to late-night films, with clear dialogue and controlled dynamics. Direct mode bypasses processing for the shortest possible signal path.
TV, streaming and multiroom
The Home Amp is designed for the modern home, where music comes from the network and the TV is the centre of entertainment. Its connections handle both with equal ease.
HDMI eARC for TV sound
Through the HDMI eARC input, TV sound reaches the amplifier over a single cable. The Home Amp decodes Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus, turning your speakers into a quality system for films and series.
Analogue and digital inputs
An RCA analogue input, an optical digital input and a USB port allow you to connect a turntable with a phono stage, a CD player or stored music. Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi ensure a stable network connection.
HEOS and multiroom
With HEOS built in, the amplifier works with Denon Home speakers, soundbars and other HEOS devices. Play the same music throughout the house or something different in each room, while AirPlay 2 adds further multiroom options.
