Denon AVC-S670H 5.2 Black

The AVC-S670H brings Denon sound to smaller rooms, with the simplicity of a 5.1 or 5.2 system and the quality you expect from the brand.

Discrete amplifiers

Five discrete high-current amplifiers deliver 75 W per channel, enough to drive compact bookshelf or floorstanding speakers. Two subwoofer outputs fill the room with more even bass.

Every audio format

Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoders play Blu-ray soundtracks as they were recorded. Whether you watch DVD, UHD 4K Blu-ray, Netflix or TV, the amplifier decodes every audio stream.

Surround from stereo too

DSP modes such as Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS Neo:6 spread a stereo signal across more speakers, for a surround feel even with older films and series.

Clear dialogue, quiet evenings

Dialog Enhancer makes voices clearer, and Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume keep the sound full at low volume and limit sudden jumps between dialogue and action scenes. Pure Direct gives clean stereo for music.

For films, series and games

From the evening film to your team's match and gaming, the AVC-S670H delivers dynamics and clarity that TV speakers cannot come close to. It is an ideal first step for anyone setting up their first home cinema in a living room or bedroom.

Denon quality

Behind it lies Denon's decades of experience in home cinema amplifiers.

Three of the six HDMI inputs and the HDMI output are HDMI 2.1 and pass 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz with full 40 Gbps bandwidth, for next-generation sources.

HDR and upscaling

Support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG and Dynamic HDR for vivid colour and contrast in high dynamic range scenes, and upscaling up to 8K for older sources.

Full compatibility

HDCP 2.3 on every HDMI input and output ensures compatibility with the latest TVs, UHD 4K Blu-ray players and consoles.

Lag-free gaming

With VRR, QFT and ALLM the picture stays smooth and the response immediate, with no tearing, so you keep the edge in the game.

Your TV's sound

The HDMI eARC output brings sound from the TV's apps to the amplifier, and with HDMI CEC you control volume and power with the TV remote. Compressed Audio Restorer improves sound from compressed sources such as MP3 and Bluetooth.

An input for every source

Connect a console, Blu-ray player, media player and set-top box to the six HDMI inputs and switch source from the remote, without hunting for cables. 8K and 4K/120 Hz sources go to the three HDMI 2.1 inputs.

Ready for the future

With HDMI 2.1 and 8K, the amplifier will also match your next TV or projector.

Big screen or projector

The picture passes through the amplifier unaltered to your TV or projector, while the sound is decoded and distributed to the speakers.

Denon's award-winning setup assistant gets you running in minutes.

Audyssey calibration

Plug the supplied microphone into the front panel, place it at the listening position and Audyssey MultEQ measures the room's acoustics and sets up the speakers.

Streaming and network

With Wi-Fi and Ethernet it plays music from a NAS or computer over DLNA, internet radio and services such as Spotify, TIDAL and Deezer. It supports FLAC, ALAC and WAV up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD up to 5.6 MHz.

HEOS, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth

With HEOS and AirPlay 2 you share music with Denon Home speakers in other rooms. Bluetooth receives sound from your phone and sends sound to Bluetooth headphones for private listening.

Connections

Three analogue inputs, MM phono for a turntable, two optical inputs, front USB.

Voice control

Besides the remote and the app, it can be controlled by voice through speakers with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri.

Quick Select

Quick Select buttons store source, volume and sound settings, so you go from TV to music at the touch of a button. Denon's control app and the HEOS app cover every setting from your phone.

Multiroom around the home

In the HEOS app you choose the same music in every room or different music in each zone, with Denon and Marantz HEOS speakers, sound bars and amplifiers.
