HXOS EIKONA SHOW 2025 – A Celebration of Sound, Technology and People.
There are moments when sound fills a room so naturally that you can’t help but pause and let yourself sink into it. That’s exactly how we felt on November 15 and 16 at the HXOS EIKONA SHOW — Greece’s most important high-end audio and visual exhibition of the year.
For two days, Athens became a meeting point for people who truly love music. Audiophiles, technology enthusiasts, professionals, creators and visitors who simply wanted to hear something special. Athens Pro Audio was there with the same mindset we bring every year: not just to showcase equipment, but to share the real joy of listening. This spirit came alive through conversations, listening sessions and an overall warm atmosphere.
At the Heart of the Experience
Our presence extended across two spaces, with the ATHENA 1 hall acting as the main hub. Those who visited had the chance to see and hear systems that represent today’s high-end philosophy: clarity, simplicity, technical excellence and emotional impact. From the new Focal Utopia models to the complete HiFi Rose setups and the well-known Dutch & Dutch 6C, every system had its own story — and each story unfolded not only through specs, but through the music itself.
Wireless High-End
Two systems that opened a new chapter. For the first time at a Greek exhibition, two top-tier wireless active systems were presented — and they changed the way many visitors perceive high-end audio at home.

Focal Diva Utopia
The Focal Diva Utopia was one of the most talked-about presentations of the show. The result of five years of research, the Diva incorporates Naim amplifiers and a Naim streaming platform, bringing Utopia-grade technology into a modern, clean, cable-free form. Its drivers, amplification and Naim-based control platform work together so the speaker functions as a complete, self-contained high-quality system, without losing the essence of the Utopia philosophy.
Many visitors stayed longer than they expected. Its sound doesn’t simply “impress.” It has movement, presence and an effortless musicality that draws you in.

Dutch & Dutch 6C
A system that “is” the setup all by itself. The Dutch & Dutch 6C was another technological highlight of the exhibition. It remains the only speaker in its class that is fully Roon Ready, with complete DSP, room correction and fully autonomous operation — no external amplifier, no DAC, no rack. Two speakers, one power cable each — that’s all. Their clarity, precision and consistency convinced many listeners that the future of high-end audio is heading toward fewer boxes, less complexity and more substance.

The HiFi Rose + Focal Kanta Nº2 System
Where the digital era meets natural musicality. In one of the busiest sections of the hall, we presented a complete HiFi Rose system built around the RA180 (amplifier), RD160 (DAC) and RS130 (network transport) — a refined platform for those who seek digital audio with character. Paired with the Focal Kanta Nº2, the system delivered texture, warmth and a well-shaped soundstage. Low-level listening revealed delicacy and detail. Dynamic moments had energy without harshness. The setup behaved as a single musical unit — not as three machines sitting next to two speakers.

The Analogue Highlight
The analogue section had its own charm. The new SME models — the Model 8, Model 12 and Model 35 — drew a great deal of attention. With outstanding build precision, some of the best tonearms available today, and mechanical stability that has defined SME for decades, these turntables reminded everyone that vinyl is much more than a trend.
It is a different way of listening — more tactile, more ritualistic, more alive.

Leica Cine 1
The Leica Cine 1 also stood out. This ultra short-throw laser projector showed just how close the true cinema experience can now come to the living room. With Leica optical engineering and its vibrant RGB tri-color laser image, the Cine 1 delivered clarity, rich color and contrast that felt genuinely cinematic. Many visitors stopped for long stretches, noticing details that ordinary TVs rarely reveal. Combined with Athens Pro Audio’s audio systems, it formed a complete home cinema setup that showcased how easy and beautiful it can be to bring a real cinematic feel into your home.

For Those Who Joined Us – and Those Who Couldn’t
Every visitor at the Wyndham Grand Athens had their own reason for being there. Some wanted to explore the next step in their system. Others came to learn, compare or try something new. Some simply wanted to hear music at a level of quality you don’t encounter every day. And then there were those who couldn’t make it. This part of the article is also for you — to share a bit of the atmosphere of those two days. The soft light falling on the speakers. The quiet moment before the first note. The expressions of people hearing something truly new. The brief silence that filled the room before the music began.
The HXOS EIKONA SHOW 2025 was a moment of shared focus and joy around sound.

A Community That Grows and Inspires Us
For Athens Pro Audio, this exhibition has never been a typical commercial appearance. It is the heart of our world. It is our chance to meet you in person, to hear your needs, your comments, your impressions. It’s where our ideas meet yours and create a shared rhythm, the rhythm of the sound community. Every conversation, every question, every smile is a source of inspiration. Technology moves forward, but our relationship with sound remains a way of life.
The Experience Continues at Athens Pro Audio
For those who couldn't attend — and for those who want a calmer, more personal listening session — all the systems we presented at HXOS EIKONA SHOW 2025 are available for audition at our store by appointment. There, in a dedicated listening environment, you can once again hear the Focal Diva Utopia, Dutch & Dutch 6C, the HiFi Rose + Focal Kanta Nº2 setup and many other systems that didn’t fit into the exhibition.

A Heartfelt Thank You
To everyone who honored us with their presence, to those who came to listen, learn and be inspired, and to those who couldn’t make it but remain part of our community — we are sincerely grateful. Every year, you remind us that great sound is not a luxury. It is a need that connects people, memories and moments. The journey continues — and we want you with us on the next listening session, the next discovery, the next step forward in sound.
