Active 38 cm / 650 W front-ported subwoofer

The Elipson Premium Sub 15 is an active subwoofer with a front-firing laminar bass-reflex port, designed for deep, controlled bass in a hi-fi or home cinema system. It combines a 38 cm (15-inch) fibreglass-cone driver with 650 W of Class D amplification, covering 19 to 200 Hz.

It is the flagship of the Premium Sub range and Elipson’s most ambitious subwoofer, delivering an experience that fills even a large screening room. A +3 dB digital boost at 26 Hz, a variable crossover (30–200 Hz) and phase control help it blend into very large rooms and dedicated home cinemas.

38 cm driver and 650 W

At the heart of the Elipson Premium Sub 15 is a 38 cm (15-inch) woofer with a fibreglass cone. Its combination of stiffness and low mass lets the cone move quickly and precisely, while the large radiating surface moves a substantial volume of air. The result is deep, dynamic and controlled bass that stands up to the most demanding soundtracks.

650 W Class D amplification

The driver is powered by a built-in 650 W Class D amplifier. Its generous power reserve allows high listening levels without losing control of the cone’s movement, so home cinema explosions carry real impact and percussion in music keeps its speed and clarity.

19–200 Hz response

With a frequency response of 19 to 200 Hz (±3 dB), the Elipson Premium Sub 15 covers almost the whole low-frequency range and effectively extends bookshelf or floorstanding speakers. It is ideal for very large rooms and dedicated home cinemas, adding body to music and true cinematic scale to films, without the bass becoming bloated or masking the midrange.

The Premium Sub range is designed for listeners who want bass to be felt, not just heard. In an action scene, the Elipson Premium Sub 15 conveys the pressure and weight of low-frequency effects; in a music recording, it gives a double bass and a kick drum the body and punch they need to sound real.

Front laminar bass-reflex

The Elipson Premium Sub 15 uses a bass-reflex cabinet with a front-firing laminar port. The port design improves airflow, so the subwoofer delivers deep bass with less port noise when playing at high levels.

Easy placement near a wall

Because the port faces forward, the subwoofer can sit close to a wall or inside furniture without affecting how the port works. This makes it easier to fit into a living room, while the bass still spreads effectively through the space.

DSP boost and subsonic filter

To tailor the very lowest frequencies to the listening room, it features a +3 dB digital boost at 26 Hz that gives infrabass more presence. A 21 Hz subsonic filter with a 12 dB/octave slope removes frequencies below the driver’s useful range, protecting the cone and keeping the subwoofer under control even in the most demanding passages.

The result is bass that extends deep without losing precision. These tools let you adapt the subwoofer to your room, so the lowest frequencies are rich yet controlled, whether you are watching a film or listening to music with deep low-end content.

Easy hi-fi and home cinema integration

The Elipson Premium Sub 15 offers a variable crossover from 30 to 200 Hz. You can set precisely where the subwoofer takes over, depending on how low your main speakers reach, for a natural transition with no gaps or excess in the bass.

Phase control 0° / 180°

The 0° / 180° phase switch helps when the subwoofer’s position in the room creates a phase difference with the main speakers. With one move the bass is aligned with the rest of the system and the soundstage stays coherent.

Inputs, output and auto standby

For connection to hi-fi amplifiers and AV receivers, it provides low-level RCA L/R line inputs and a dedicated LFE input, plus a stereo line output to link a second subwoofer or another device. Auto standby puts it to sleep when no signal is present and wakes it as soon as playback resumes, so it can stay connected permanently without wasting power.

Thanks to this flexibility, the Elipson Premium Sub 15 connects easily to most hi-fi amplifiers and AV receivers: through the line inputs in a stereo system, or through the LFE input in a home cinema. The stereo line output also allows a dual-subwoofer setup for more even bass throughout the room.
