The SR-B30A has a subwoofer output, so you can add an active subwoofer later if you want even deeper bass for films.
Dolby Atmos and True Sound
The SR-B30A uses Yamaha True Sound technology, built on everything the company knows about sound and sound-field creation, and enhances it with Dolby Atmos for a three-dimensional feel in films and music.
Sound that fills the room
Four 4.6 cm drivers and two 2.5 cm dome tweeters create a wide sound field that spreads across the whole room. From intense action scenes to quiet dramas, the sound envelops you and draws you deeper into the story, while the tweeters add clarity to details and voices.
Two built-in subwoofers
Two 7.5 cm bass drivers inside the soundbar, together with Bass Extension, deliver rich, realistic bass without a separate box. The total 120 W (2 × 30 W for the front channels and 60 W for the bass) is enough for a typical living room.

The SR-B30A gives you several ways to adapt the sound to the content and to your taste without losing fidelity.
Four sound modes
Stereo for music and podcasts, Standard for TV programmes, Movie for a wide, cinematic sound and Game to put you at the centre of the action. They switch with one press on the remote or in the app.
Clear Voice and tone controls
Clear Voice makes dialogue clearer even at low volume. In the Sound Bar Remote app there are also new tone controls, so you can set the balance of bass and treble where you like it while keeping the character of the original sound.

One cable to the TV
The HDMI eARC port connects the soundbar to the TV with a single cable and carries sound from every app and source on the TV, with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital support. With HDMI CEC you adjust the volume from the TV remote. For older TVs there is an optical digital input.
Bluetooth and app
With Bluetooth 5.1 (SBC, AAC) you play music from a phone or tablet with a range of about 10 m. The supplied remote and the free Sound Bar Remote app give quick access to every setting.
