Studio-grade sound in the palm of your hand
The Universal Audio Volt 1 Gen 2 is a compact 2-in/2-out USB audio interface from the team behind the Apollo series. Its Tone Shaping Preamp adds tube, solid-state or British Class A colour at the press of a button, so vocals and guitar sound full from the very first take. It runs on USB bus power and connects to Mac, Windows, iPad and iPhone.
Tone Shaping Preamp: character on every take
The Tone Shaping Preamp delivers up to 60 dB of gain with three character modes: Warmth adds the rounded glow of a tube, Focus the clarity of solid-state and Shine the open lift of a British Class A circuit. 32-bit converters running at up to 192 kHz preserve every nuance of the performance. The UAD Volt Studio bundle with 15+ plug-ins (LA-2A, 1176, Pure Plate Reverb, Galaxy Tape Echo), LUNA and Melodyne Essential complete a full studio in one box.
