The 3.3 is constructed using high quality components and comes complete with a tonearm, cartridge mounted, and dust cover.Speed ControlThe 3.3 has a built-in electronic speed control for 33/45/and 78. The platter speed switches from 33 to 45 rpm at the touch of a button. 78 rpm requires the movement of the belt to a different location on the motor pulley, and the use of a different belt, included with the turntable.Carbon Fiber Arm with Bonded Alloy HeadshellThis tonearm is unique to music hall. Bonding the alloy headshell to the carbon arm-tube stiffens and dampens the carbon fiber tube. This construction significantly improves the sound and performance over similar looking one-piece carbon arms. The alloy headshell allows you to securely mount the cartridge to the tonearm without the twist and flex that is common in lesser one-piece carbon arms. Tonearms should not twist/flex as this negatively impacts the cartridge and tonearm’s ability to properly track the record groove. On many one-piece carbon tonearms, you can literally pinch the cartridge end of arm between your thumb and forefinger and twist/flex the arm-tube. The new Debut RecordMaster has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analog today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables with all speeds is growing fast!
It comes with improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilizing TPE), ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator for ultimate speed stability.
Ultimate convenience is achieved, because of electronic speed change („Speed Box“) and the possibility of playing 78rpm. A simple exchange of stylus to OM78 (not included) and a drive belt turnover to the larger diameter of a pulley is required, that´s all!
Because Debut RecordMaster comes with pre-mounted cartridge and built-in phono preamplifier with USB output, connection to both line-level input of your hi-fi system and recording of vinyl to PC/Mac easily can be done simultaneously!
