The Marantz AMP 30 is a 6-channel power amplifier with 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and 400 W into 4 ohms. The AMP 30 draws on Marantz's long heritage in high-end electronics. It delivers up to 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and 400 W into 4 ohms, enough to drive even the most demanding home cinema speakers with ease.
HDAM circuits
Amplification is based on Marantz's own HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) circuits, designed for the widest possible frequency range and dynamics. Together with custom capacitors that respond quickly to high current demand, the amplifier is ideal for today's high-resolution formats.
Cinema and music
The AMP 30 delivers the dynamics and energy of an action scene just as easily as the subtlety and harmonic richness of music.
BTL, bi-amping and XLR
Besides driving six speakers, the AMP 30 can run in bi-amp mode, powering the bass and treble sections of your speakers separately. In BTL mode power reaches 3 x 400 W into 8 ohms for an even stronger front stage.
Connects to any preamplifier
With six unbalanced RCA and six balanced XLR inputs, the AMP 30 connects to any AV preamplifier, although the best match is of course a Marantz. You can also combine several AMP 30, AMP 20 or AMP 10 units for larger speaker layouts.
Automatic control
The trigger input switches it on automatically with the preamplifier, while the RS-232 port allows control from a home automation system.
Slim Marantz design
Just 11 cm tall, the AMP 30 continues Marantz's tradition of very compact amplifiers and fits easily into a home cinema cabinet, a rack or the living room.
Signature front panel
The brand's timeless design appears in the multi-faceted front panel, while the iconic Marantz porthole becomes an elegant circular VU meter here. With a Marantz preamplifier, the AMP 30 is controlled and switched on together with it, so you never need to touch it.
