The Focal Utopia Main 212 Amplifier is the powerhouse behind the flagship Utopia Main 212 monitoring system, delivering exceptional power, precision and complete control over each individual driver.

The external amplification unit provides a total of 1,500 watts RMS, with two 500W Class D amplifiers driving the dual 13" woofers, two 180W Class H Current Mode amplifiers for the midrange drivers, and a 140W Class H Current Mode amplifier dedicated to the Beryllium tweeter.

Focal’s exclusive Current Mode amplification technology directly controls the current delivered to the drivers, minimizing the effects of impedance variations and achieving exceptionally low distortion, outstanding transient response and remarkable sonic transparency.

The amplifier also offers extensive tuning options for precise integration of the Utopia Main 212 into any professional studio environment, including HPF, LF/HF shelving, LF and LMF EQ, independent subwoofer, midrange and tweeter trims, as well as dedicated filters for soffit-mounted or sealed-port configurations.
