Clear dialogue at the centre of the screen

The Yamaha NS-C444 is a 2-way sealed centre speaker from Yamaha's EF series. With two 13 cm PMD woofers and an aluminium tweeter with Waveguide horn, it places dialogue clearly at the centre of the screen and matches the NS-555 and other speakers in the series both in sound and looks.

The EF series centre channel

In a home cinema system, the centre speaker reproduces most of the dialogue. The NS-C444 was designed precisely for this, with high sensitivity and wide dynamics for the digital sound of films.

Two PMD woofers and a Waveguide tweeter

Two 13 cm PMD (Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) woofers deliver natural, full voices, while the 2.5 cm aluminium dome tweeter with Waveguide horn adds clarity and wide dispersion, so dialogue is clear from every seat on the sofa.

Sealed cabinet

The acoustic suspension design gives controlled, accurate low frequencies and allows placement close to a wall or inside a cabinet. Response extends from 55 Hz to 35 kHz.

Easy to drive

With 89 dB sensitivity and 6 Ω impedance, it works comfortably with any AV receiver, handling 100 W nominal and up to 250 W maximum. The glossy piano finish matches the NS-555.
