Five discs, continuous music

The Yamaha CD-C603 is a five-disc CD changer for anyone with a large CD collection who wants hours of uninterrupted music. With PlayXchange you change discs while playback continues, and the front USB port also plays high-resolution files up to 96 kHz / 24-bit.

Fits any Hi-Fi system

Pure Direct keeps the sound clean, while the RCA and optical outputs connect to any amplifier.

PlayXchange and 5 discs

The CD-C603 holds five discs at once, so you can line up your own sequence of albums for an evening with friends or hours of relaxed listening at home.

Change discs without interruption

With PlayXchange you can remove and add discs while the changer keeps playing the current disc. The music never stops, however often you change the programme.

Fully opening tray

The tray opens fully and shows all five positions together, so you can change every disc in one go. It is simple and comfortable to use, even for someone who has never used a CD changer before.

USB and high-resolution files

Beyond CDs, the CD-C603 is also a digital file player.

Front USB port

Plug a USB stick into the front panel and listen to MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and FLAC files up to 96 kHz / 24-bit. Your digital collection plays through the same Hi-Fi system, without a computer.

Disc compatibility

CD, CD-R and CD-RW are supported, so you can also play your own compilations. Frequency response reaches 44 kHz for 96 kHz files, with a 105 dB signal-to-noise ratio and just 0.003% distortion.

Pure Direct and easy operation

The CD-C603 is designed for clean sound and comfortable everyday use.

Pure Direct

Pure Direct switches off circuits not needed during playback, reducing noise for cleaner, more detailed sound.

Practical functions

Repeat, random play and track programming are easy to control from the remote. Remote in / out sockets allow integration into a centrally controlled system, while the RCA and optical outputs connect to any amplifier or external DAC.
