The Denon DL-103R is the evolved version of the legendary DL-103, with coils of high-purity 6N OFC copper. It delivers a more open and detailed sound while keeping the character of the classic MC cartridge.

It is made in England to very tight tolerances and combines the nude Vital stylus, an aluminium cantilever and Rega's three-point mounting. With an output of 6.8 to 7.2 mV and a load of 47 kΩ / 100 pF it works with any MM phono stage, such as the Fono MM MK5 and the phono stages of Rega amplifiers.Reviews, rebuild and warrantyThe Exact has received positive reviews from the specialist press, with Analog Planet describing it as an excellent upgrade choice for Rega turntables. Through the Rega rebuild scheme, a worn cartridge can be exchanged for a rebuilt unit with a new cantilever, stylus and pivot pad at a reduced price. It is covered by Rega's Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects.

The MC Verismo will undoubtedly provide sound which simply has to be experienced.Design elements and high-end materialsThe housing of the Verismo cartridge is made in Titanium with the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technique pioneered by Ortofon. This technique allows for precise control of the density of the body material, allowing for extremely high internal damping.The MC Verismo makes use of Ortofon’s Replicant 100 diamond. This Line Contact type stylus distinguishes itself by having a narrow and long contact surface, which is as close as possible to the original cutting stylus. This ensures the most accurate reproduction, lowest distortion and extended frequency range.The addition of a solid Diamond cantilever provides the best possible interface between the stylus and armature, owing to its hardness and crystal structure. The improvements found in the use of a Diamond cantilever have redefined the boundaries of analogue reproduction, presenting greater inner detail, subtlety, and depth like never before.Performance with a range of compatibilityIn the MC Verismo the cartridge’s contact with the tonearm takes place through three well-defined contact points placed on the top side of the cartridge.
