The LH-10000 is an exceptionally high quality headshell made using a high performance Aluminum alloy with Zinc as the primary alloying element. The Aluminum alloy used for LH-10000 is strong, with strength comparable to steel. It has good fatigue strength and machinability, but offers more resistance to corrosion than many other Aluminum alloys. LH-10000 features a precision machined slit on the top plate. A piece of Ortofon's special proprietary TPE (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer) compound with excellent damping properties is integrated into the slit. LH-10000 incorporates damping technology similar to the Ortofon TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms and the Xpression cartridge, promoting a further reduction in unwanted resonances. LH-10000 is fitted with the set of the most sophisticated lead wires identical to Ortofon LW-800S, composed of pure silver and silver coated wire. Silver coated wire transmits the very clear high tone signals, which brings the brilliant tonality. LH-10000 is perfect for a variety of High-end cartridges, including the MC Anna, MC Anna Diamond, MC A95, MC Windfeld Ti, Cadenza Series, e.g. Cadenza Bronze as well as the historical MC A90, MC Windfeld, MC Century, Kontrapunkt series and MC Jubilee. LH-10000 is azimuth adjustable, which is beneficial for optimal channel separation.

The AT-HS6 is a universal ½"-mount headshell for 4-pin turntable cartridges. It features an ultra-lightweight (9 g) aluminum die-cast body to keep vibration to a minimum and a finger lift to enable precise stylus placement. The headshell comes with color-coded lead wires and mounting screws.

Turntable mats have been always a big discussion how they influence the sound. The interaction between the record and the surface can be tracked very easily by the supersensitivity of a good pick up cartridge.  Common felt mats give a smooth contact between record and platter but has the disadvantage with static. That means that feltmats often collect a lot of dust which can be then transfered to the record. Also the damping ability is very limited which can be a problem with metal platters. Thick rubbermats overdamp the record and have an isolation effect which leaves the static on the record and hearable noise clicks are the result.  Leather and Cork are 2 different but very interesting options to upgrade the sound quality. Resonances Are damped more effectively than felt, they keep dust away and they have also enough contactivity to avoid static.  What is better depends on taste and the actual platter design.A very costeffectiv way to improve the sound and have less noise by static and dust. You can hear a difference!
