The cabinet benefits from structural reinforcements for increased rigidity and better driver control. The crossover has been completely redesigned for increased transparency and to exploit the full musicality of the 14 cm mid/bass driver and its 25 mm tweeter. Emblematic of the range, a faceted crown surrounds the drivers to reduce diffraction and maximize linearity. The assurance of precise reproduction in hi-fi as well as home cinema! A classic perfectedThe Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B speakers retain the DNA of their predecessor while refining every point to deliver even more grandiose performance. The thick MDF cabinet benefits from a reinforced structure to best eliminate internal vibrations and resonances. The front panel is made of two materials of different densities and thicknesses to avoid any unwanted interference. This same front panel is also embellished with a satin finish, more understated and elegant to facilitate the integration of the speakers into any interior. 14 cm speakerThe Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B bookshelf speaker retains the excellent acoustic design of its predecessor, with a 2-way architecture based on a 14 cm diameter mid-bass driver. The rigid yet lightweight membrane benefits from a central metal cone to improve movement control and limit turbulence, which can cause distortion. It also absorbs unwanted vibrations and dissipates them, which reduces noise and improves the accuracy of reproduction. The Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B speaker thus offers very rich, well-textured mids and very well-controlled bass. This speaker is paired with a 25mm diameter soft dome tweeter. This model ensures excellent transient response and perfect control of high frequencies down to 25Hz. Exclusive to the Elipson Prestige Facet II speaker range, a custom-cut synthetic rubber crown surrounds each speaker to limit baffle effects and diffraction. The response curve is thus less disrupted and more linear, for a smoother listening experience.Audiophile filterTo ensure lossless sound distribution, the Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B speaker benefits from a completely redesigned audiophile-grade passive crossover. This notably uses low-resistance inductors for a more energetic and impactful bass, while being better controlled. Polypropylene capacitors allow for more richness in the high frequencies and metal film resistors ensure perfect separation. This redesign of the crossover allows for better channel decoupling, a smoother frequency response and a more coherent and natural soundstage. The wiring between this crossover and the loudspeakers is carried out using very high-purity 2.25 mm² oxygen-free copper conductors to ensure that every last musical information is preserved throughout the entire path. Like all speakers in the range, the Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B bookshelf features a high-end dual terminal block compatible with bi-wiring and bi-amping. The contacts are silver-plated to maximize signal transmission and support banana plugs, spades, and heavy-gauge cables. The Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B bookshelf speaker is characterized by its neutrality and accuracy. Devoid of any coloration, it delivers its score without adding or subtracting anything from the original recording. Listening reveals a feeling of softness and serenity, each piece being reproduced faithfully, with control and without aggression. Designed with an audiophile approach, the Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B speaker is intended to be associated with any high-fidelity amplifier with a power less than or equal to 100 watts per channel.
