Spikes couple the speaker to the floor, so cabinet vibrations pass into the floor and reflect back, blurring the sound. GAIA does the opposite: it isolates the speaker, so energy does not pass into the supporting surface and reflections do not return to the cabinet.

The result is immediately audible: clearer detail, tighter bass and a soundstage that opens up in width and depth, with a natural, three-dimensional image.

With some isolation feet the metal housing rests directly on the floor, creating a rigid path for vibrations. With GAIA only the lower isolator touches the surface, so vibrations do not travel through the housing.

The isolators resist lateral movement and oscillation, keeping the speaker stable and aligned with the listening position.

GAIA threads into the base of the speaker or subwoofer in place of its spikes or feet, using the matching thread adaptor from those supplied. This creates a firm connection with the speaker while the lower isolator grips the floor.

For best results, install GAIA with the logo facing the listening position (or rotated 180 degrees) to align with the drivers' motion. Optional Carpet Discs are available for carpeted floors.
