Maple mass and patented isolation
DELOS combines the mass of a thick maple butcher block with IsoAcoustics patented isolators. The wood has a light amber colour and is very durable, with a Janka hardness of 1450.
Together they create a stable base with a very low noise floor, eliminating the effects of structure-borne vibrations.
The floating island
The name DELOS comes from the Greek island of Delos. In mythology the island floated aimlessly in the Aegean until Poseidon anchored it on four granite columns, giving Leto a safe place to give birth to Apollo and Artemis.
