The Sennheiser IE 900 are Sennheiser's flagship audiophile in-ear monitors. They are built at the company's headquarters in Wedemark, Germany, with housings milled from a single piece of aluminium and earpieces matched by hand.
7 mm X3R driver, T3CA three-chamber system, 5 Hz – 48 kHz response and three cables: 3.5 mm, 2.5 mm balanced and 4.4 mm balanced.
One driver, the full spectrum
Instead of multiple drivers with crossovers, the IE 900 use a single 7 mm X3R dynamic driver, the most advanced version of Sennheiser's Extra Wide Band technology. The sound is perfectly coherent from the deepest bass to the highest frequencies, with no phase issues.
Precision acoustic engineering
The T3CA (Triple Chamber Absorber) system uses three absorber chambers to counter masking at high frequencies, while an acoustic vortex in the nozzle further refines performance. The result is exceptionally clean sound, with distortion below 0.05% and response from 5 Hz to 48 kHz.
Handcrafted in Germany
Every IE 900 is built in Wedemark, Germany. The housings are milled from a single piece of aluminium and every pair of earpieces is matched by hand. The package includes three para-aramid reinforced cables (3.5 mm, 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm balanced) with gold-plated MMCX connectors, silicone and foam ear tips and a carry case.
