Full HD with HDR10 and HLG
Native 1920 x 1080 resolution gives sharp, detailed images from HD content without downscaling or compression. The ZH451ST accepts HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) content for more detail, texture and depth, while a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio strengthens the difference between light and dark areas.
Bright images with the lights on
With 4,200 lumens and vivid colours, the picture stays strong even in a lit room, with no direct sunlight on the screen. Display modes range from accurate sRGB colour to punchy presentations, and the projector supports Full 3D from compatible sources.
Designed with the environment in mind
Laser technology cuts power consumption by up to 45% compared with Optoma's lamp-based projectors and is mercury-free. The chassis contains up to 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and the packaging up to 97% recyclable materials.
DuraCore laser, up to 30,000 hours
In the ZH451ST the lamp is replaced by a DuraCore laser, with a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours and no lamps to change. Optoma achieves this with advanced laser diode cooling and a dust-resistant design certified to IP6X. Maintenance is minimal and brightness stays consistent over the years.
Instant on, consistent performance
Optoma laser projectors switch on and off instantly and maintain consistent brightness and colour. In many situations the perceived brightness can be up to twice that of an equivalent lamp-based projector.
24/7 operation
The ZH451ST is designed to run 24 hours a day in standard orientation, ideal for spaces with long hours of use. For optimum performance Optoma recommends 30 minutes off or in standby every 24 hours. Auto power off switches it off if it is left running unused, saving energy.
Lower consumption
Compared with Optoma's lamp-based projectors, power consumption drops by up to 45%, and the light source is mercury-free.
A big image from a short distance
With a 0.496:1 throw ratio, the ZH451ST projects a 100" image from just over a metre away and can be placed less than half a metre from the wall. Because it sits close to the screen, presenters cast no shadows and are not dazzled by the beam.
For meeting rooms and classrooms
The ZH451ST is geared for conference rooms, boardrooms, corporate spaces and classrooms. Image size ranges from 30" to 300", while the built-in 15 W speaker covers audio without an external system.
360° and portrait projection
Images can be projected in any orientation, giving freedom in where the projector is installed, and a portrait mode is available for specific applications.
Easy alignment
±15° horizontal and vertical keystone correction and a 116% offset help fit the image to the screen, even when the projector position is not ideal.
Connectivity and remote management
Two HDMI 2.0 inputs connect computers, media players and other digital sources, while a VGA input serves older equipment. There is a 3.5 mm audio input and output, plus two USB-A ports that power external devices up to 5 V / 1.5 A.
Integration with professional systems
RS232, RJ45, 12 V trigger and 3D sync ports allow control from any automation system. The ZH451ST is compatible with AMX (dynamic discovery), Crestron RoomView, which controls up to 250 projectors from one computer, and Extron IPLink.
Optoma Management Suite
With Optoma Management Suite (OMSC), IT managers can monitor in real time, schedule and diagnose issues on all compatible Optoma devices remotely. They can also set alerts and broadcast emergency announcements, reducing downtime and costs.
Security
A security bar, Kensington lock and password protection keep the projector safe in public spaces.
