The transmitter is powered with 2 AA alkaline batteries for up to 15 hours. Although the PT4000 does not include a microphone or instrument cable, the TA3-female input connector allows complete interchangeability between compatible AKG or third party microphones and instrument cables.The AKG PT 4000 body-pack transmitter is designed for use with AKG WMS4000 series wireless microphone receivers.The transmitter accepts both microphone and line level signal and the input sensitivity is user adjustable between 0 - 25dB. Locking On/Off and Mute switches are available and a back-lit LCD display is also standard.
