The tensioned Lumene Showplace UHD 4K/8K Platinum is a high-end motorised projection screen designed for recessed installation in a false ceiling. For a true cinema experience at home in UHD 4K or even 8K, the image must be flawless, and the screen surface plays a decisive role.The Lumene UHD 4K/8K Platinum surface is extremely smooth, designed to render UHD 4K and 8K images from UHD Blu-ray or streaming services with perfect sharpness. It offers a gain of 1.3, a 130° viewing angle and anti-yellowing, anti-dust and anti-wrinkle treatments. Black borders frame the picture precisely and boost perceived contrast.When deployed, a cable system holds the surface under tension so it never ripples and image geometry is preserved. An extra drop at the top makes height adjustment easier, especially with high ceilings.The aluminium case is light, sturdy and naturally corrosion-resistant, and recesses into the ceiling via a suspension system. The new Lumene Silent Motor is twice as quiet as its predecessor, with an improved brake. The Lumene Showplace Extra Bright LT is a motorised in-ceiling projection screen designed for medium and long-throw projectors. Once the fabric is rolled up, the screen becomes almost invisible, making it ideal for premium living rooms and professional spaces.The ALR fabric carries quasi-nano optical coatings applied evenly to PVC using stretch-film technology. These reflective coatings direct natural and artificial ambient light away from the viewing zone, delivering high contrast, faithful colour and richer detail even in daytime. Gain is 0.6, viewing angle 140°, with no hotspot, a black light-blocking back and black borders.The aluminium case recesses into the ceiling for a minimal footprint, and a hook also allows suspended mounting.
