AB168 is a portable AudioRack, providing 16 XLR inputs and 8 XLR outputs when connected to a GLD-80 or GLD-112 mixer, or to an AR2412 AudioRack.Featuring 16 mic preamps with Phantom Power indicators and 8 XLR line outs, AB168 runs on Allen & Heath’s proprietary dSNAKE protocol.The AB168 unit connects over a single Cat5 cable to the GLD mixer or to an AR2412 AudioRack via a secure dSNAKE EtherCon port. A second EtherCon port is provided for daisy-chaining to another AB168 box or connection of a ME personal mixing system. The Ui Series mixers feature cross-platform compatibility with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, and Linux devices, and can use up to 10 control devices simultaneously. In addition, the Ui12 and Ui16 each feature built-in HARMAN signal processing from dbx, DigiTech and Lexicon, including dbx AFS2, DigiTech Amp Modeling, and more. The Allen & Heath GLD-AR2412 is the Main AudioRack for the company's GLD digital mixing system. The GLD-AR2412 includes 24 XLR inputs and 12 XLR outputs and connects to the GLD-80 digital mixer via inexpensive and readily available Cat 5 cable running Allen & Heath's dSNAKE protocol, allowing the GLD-AR2412 to be positioned up to 400' from the GLD-80.dSNAKE provides control to the remote mic preamps in the GLD-AR2412; all are scene recallable.
