The Lumene Majestic HD is a high-end motorised projection screen for home cinema enthusiasts who want an effective, easy-to-install solution for a large high-definition picture. It is available in several sizes and in 16:9, 4:3 and 2.35:1 (cinemascope) formats.

The projection surface is made of PVC with glass fibre and is treated to optimise the picture and respect the colour accuracy of HD images. With a gain of 1.0 and a 160° viewing angle, every viewer enjoys a bright, contrasty image wherever they sit. The black blackout backing lets you deploy the screen in front of a window without light bleeding through, while the black borders improve perceived contrast.

The housing is white-lacquered aluminium and contains a Lumene tubular motor that is simple, reliable and quiet. Quick clip mounting makes installation easy on a wall or ceiling, and for very high ceilings the screen can also be suspended using the supplied hook.

Control is via an infrared remote with fine position adjustment, manual Up/Stop/Down buttons, or automatically through the 12V trigger input: connected to the projector (10 m cable supplied), the screen comes down when the projector powers on and retracts when it switches off. An RS232 interface allows integration into home automation systems.

Bright picture from every seat

The PVC and glass-fibre surface is treated to respect the colour accuracy of high-definition images, with no hot spot. With a gain of 1.0 and a 160° viewing angle, the picture stays bright and contrasty even for viewers at the ends of the sofa. Black borders frame the image and raise perceived contrast, while anti-yellowing, anti-dust and anti-wrinkle treatments help the surface keep its quality over time. The blackout backing also means the screen can be lowered in front of a window without light leaking through.

Easy wall or ceiling installation

The white-lacquered aluminium housing blends discreetly into most rooms. The clip mounting system makes installation quick and secure on either a wall or a ceiling, and where the ceiling is very high the screen can be suspended using the dedicated hook. Thanks to the black blackout backing, you can even position it in front of a window without worrying about light passing through the projection surface. The result is a flexible screen that adapts to the layout of a living room or a dedicated cinema room.

Automatic control and home automation

The Lumene tubular motor moves the surface quietly and reliably. The infrared remote allows fine position adjustment, and manual Up, Stop and Down buttons are also provided. With the 10 m 12V trigger cable connected to the projector, the screen lowers automatically when the projector switches on and rises when it switches off. For more advanced installations, the RS232 port enables control from a home automation system, and the included remote IR sensor makes signal reception easier wherever the screen is mounted.
