Shanling M6 (21)

A high resolution DAP

Designed and engineered for audiophiles, the M6 (21) adopts a dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC to independently process the audio streams of each channel. It also supports high-resolution files up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD256, as well as MQA. Each DAC is associated with a low noise KDS clock and is filtered by an FPGA chip specifically programmed by Shanling for the M6 (21).

Balanced & Single-ended outputs

The Shanling M6 (21) amplification stage is not to be outdone since it benefits from two independent amplifiers to feed the balanced outputs while ensuring a very low noise level. A third amplifier feeds the single-ended output in order to take full advantage of the dual DAC. The M6 (21) offers 3 headphone outputs: 2 balanced outputs in 2.5mm and 4.4mm jack format and a single-ended output in 3.5mm jack. The developed power is 350mW under 32Ω on the balanced outputs and 160mW under 32Ω for the single-ended output.

WiFi & Bluetooth

The Shanling M6 (21) is equipped with a WiFi controller, allowing you to transfer your music wirelessly or even to play files stored on your network directly, in DLNA. This also allows the M6 (21) to have access to many music streaming services, like Qobuz, Deezer or Spotify.

The M6 (21) also includes a Bluetooth chip for receiving and transmitting audio data to Bluetooth headphones or earphones. This Bluetooth chip supports AAC, aptX HD, LDAC and HWA codecs for maximum compatibility.

Touch screen

Dressed in an aluminum chassis, the M6 (21) is light and robust on which rests a large touch screen of 11cm diagonal. This one allows an intuitive navigation in the menus of the DAP and within your audio files. These files can be stored on the 32GB internal memory of the player or on an external Micro SD card (not included). The DAP is powered by a Lithium-Polymer battery capable of providing an autonomy of up to 12 hours in single-ended or 9 hours in balanced.
