Focal Theva N°3 Light Wood (Pair)

Exclusive to Focal and made in France, the Slatefiber cone is made from recycled carbon fibres applied as a filling sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In their quest for perfection, Focal's engineers opted for non-woven carbon fibres, all pointing in the same direction, to achieve greater rigidity, better damping and lightness – the essentials of a great speaker driver.

Renowned for reproducing a rich, dynamic and balanced sound, the Slatefiber cone features in numerous Focal products across the home, studio and car audio ranges. In Theva N°3, two 6.5" (16.5 cm) Slatefiber bass drivers and one Slatefiber midrange work together in a 3-way design.

Made by Focal in France, the aluminium/magnesium TNF tweeter with inverted dome delivers a clear and mellow treble. The surround linking the dome to its stand uses a memory foam material called Poron.

This surround is directly derived from the famous Beryllium tweeter of the Utopia range and reduces distortion by a third between 2,000 Hz and 3,000 Hz, the ear's high-sensitivity range. The result is an impressively stable and wide soundstage, with detail that stays effortless even over long listening sessions.

Theva N°3 is the largest floorstanding speaker in the range. With a low-frequency limit of 39 Hz and 91 dB sensitivity, it delivers deep, dynamic bass and comfortably fills large living rooms. Its tilted base time-aligns the drivers towards the listening position, offering a large and stable stereo image.

It works with 40–250 W amplifiers and is ideal both for stereo listening and as the front speakers of a home cinema with Theva Center, Theva Surround and the SUB 600P subwoofer.
