Kali Audio WS-6.2
Small Size, Huge SoundThe WS-6.2 is only slightly larger than an 8-inch studio monitor, making it the perfect choice to sit under your desk, or in other tight spaces. The horizontally opposed woofers in the WS-6.2 present as much radiating area as a 10-Inch woofer, but in a much smaller package. As an added benefit, the configuration of the woofers cancels out net vibration, so the sub won’t scoot, buzz, or rattle, even at high SPLs.With 120 dB max SPL, the WS-6.2 will be more than sufficient for most stereo setups, and will work well in small multichannel setups as well. If more SPL is needed, a second WS-6.2 can be added without taking up very much space. You can also look at using our larger WS-12 subwoofer.I/O & ControlThe WS-6.2 features balanced inputs for either XLR or TRS cables, as well as unbalanced RCA inputs. You can use the 80 Hz crossover if you’re using the sub to extend the low end response of your monitors, use LFE mode to feed the sub a dedicated LFE channel, or turn off the crossover and use an external crossover for greater customization. The 80 Hz crossover is meant for use with Kali’s studio monitors, but it will work well with monitors from most popular manufacturers. When using the 80 Hz crossover, high-passed signal will be sent out via the XLR outputs. The WS-6.2 has a footswitch jack that will let you turn the subwoofer off, and the XLR outputs will send full range signal to your studio monitors. Footswitches are sold separately, and are available at most music retailers. Contact Kali Audio customer service if you need advice in purchasing a footswitch.Port TubeLike Kali Audio’s full range monitors, the WS-6.2 includes a front-firing port tube that prevents noise and compression. On most port tubes, air leaves at different speeds from different points of the opening, creating noisy turbulence. This turbulence can be heard as “chuffing,” or an audible air sound coming from the monitor. This sound will add to the noise floor and obscure the details of the low end.The port tube on WS-6.2was designed to ensure that all of the air leaves the port tube at the same velocity. This helps add to the low end response of the speaker, while keeping the bass clean, tight, and devoid of extra noise.

Eve Audio TS107
Tech TalkEvery ThunderStorm subwoofer has detailed controls like switchable satellite filters (full range and 80Hz), phase switch controls (0°, 180°). and variable subwoofer filter frequencies (60...140Hz) to let you tailor and adjust your ThunderStorm to your specific room. The TS107 is the smallest model in the range of EVE Audio subwoofers and features a very efficient 100W PWM amplifier that drives a proprietary 6.5" woofer. This guarantees a frequency response of down to 36Hz up to 300 Hz, for a maximum output power of 102 dB (SPL @ 1m). All in all, the ThunderStorm subwoofers will make any system sound better and more complete. As with every other EVE Audio subwoofer, you get balanced XLR In- and Outputs (Stereo In and Out, LFE In, LFE/Sub Out) for greater convenience. In addition, TS107 features an unbalanced input for connecting SC203, too.DSP/SMART-KNOBOne thing worthy of mentioning is that the DSP section, which uses a high resolution BurrBrown converter, only affects the bass driver operation. The signal path to the satellite speakers is kept purely analog, with no A/D/A conversions whatsoever. That's why the "Pure Satellite" function, when activated, completely bypasses the subwoofer and DSP filter section, and will only allow you to adjust your satellite's volume. The included remote control will let you adjust not only the subwoofer's volume but also the complete stereo system's volume while sitting comfortably in your sweet spot.Passive Radiator The particularity of our extremely powerful and accurate subwoofer resides in the passive radiator used that replaces the common bass reflex tube. With this design all audible noise due to air turbulences disappear completely. Unwanted disturbing pipe resonances (at lambda/2 and multiples) are eliminated, which are unavoidable when applying the principle of a two-sided pipe opening (bass reflex port). The suspension of the passive radiator has a restoring force underneath its tuning frequency and reduces inaudible excursions in the subsonic range. This in turn results in reduced intermodulation distortion in the working range. The passive radiator allows a particularly low tuning or lower cut-off frequency in a very compact cabinet.

Dual Active Sub with Next-gen Slatefiber Woofers
The Focal Sub One design leverages cutting-edge materials and engineering to advance the state of the art in studio monitoring. This compact twin active subwoofer employs dual 8-inch woofers with Slatefiber cones developed and handcrafted in Focal’s Saint-Étienne, France-based facility. Powered by 200 watts of optimized Class D bi-amplification and engineered to deliver flat tonal balance and outstanding dynamic range, the Sub One is a versatile, robust subwoofer that will complement your modern production environment and provide the honest, accurate monitoring, high SPL, and deep low-end extension you need to produce world-class results.
Unerring accuracy, outstanding performance
For producers and sound engineers with higher demands in the sub-bass, Focal offers Sub One, a subwoofer that delivers power of 200W RMS. Thanks to its precision and very low distortion, this long-excursion, high-efficiency subwoofer ensures ideal coupling with the Alpha Evo line but also the Shape line of monitors.
At the heart of the Sub One are the new Slatefiber LF drivers. The singular characteristics of the Slatefiber material used for the cones have dramatically improved the low-frequency extension, dynamic range, and sheer impact of the Sub One as compared with its predecessors. If your projects demand high SPL and ultra-deep low-end extension, you need a Sub One — it's a must-have add-on for your monitoring system.
You can trust Focal monitors
The speaker drivers boast an exclusive double-skinned Slatefiber cone: the two cones affixed against each other offer even greater rigidity, ideal for a subwoofer. Finally, with its large vents located on the front panel, Sub One is very easily and discreetly positioned along a wall or under a desktop as it takes up less depth.
With their extended frequency response and precise imaging, Focal’s Sub One active studio subwoofer is engineered to reproduce your audio signal with unerring accuracy. But beyond its impressive performance, this sub is designed for flexible, seamless integration into you studio.
The Sub One features a fully adjustable lowpass crossover, volume, phase polarity, and more. You also get LFE, left, and right inputs, left and right outputs, and a 2.1 low-frequency management system for optimum satellite return.
Design
Thanks to its elaborate full-width design and front-mounted air vents, this professional subwoofer fits discreetly and easily into a room along a wall or under a desk. Its slim profile saves space in the studio.
