The Elipson Planet Sub in red lacquer is a cylindrical active subwoofer with a 200 W Class D amplifier and a 20 cm driver. It is designed to partner the Planet M spherical speakers in a 2.1 stereo system or a 5.1 home cinema.
Deep bass from 30 Hz
The 20 cm driver in a bass-reflex enclosure reaches down to 30 Hz with energy and control. It is especially efficient in the upper bass, exactly where small satellite speakers need support.
Cylindrical design
The driver fires towards the floor, so the Planet Sub is easy to place anywhere in the room. Its lacquered cylindrical shape matches the Planet M spheres and ensures optimal internal airflow.
For hi-fi and home cinema
With line and speaker-level inputs and a 0/180° phase switch, it connects to an AV receiver or a stereo amplifier. Together with Planet M it forms Elipson's Planet M 5.1 system.

Five identical speakers for seamless surround
Fronts, centre and surrounds are identical Planet M speakers with 10 cm coaxial drivers, so voices and effects move between channels without any change in tone. The spheres sit on furniture or shelves, or on wall and ceiling mounts.
10 cm coaxial driver
The 10 cm coaxial driver combines a paper cone with a fabric dome tweeter at its centre. Sound radiates from a single point, with a neutral, silky tone and a stable stereo image. The 2,500 Hz crossover blends the two ranges seamlessly.
Planet Sub: 200 W and a 20 cm driver
The cylindrical Planet Sub features a 200 W Class D amplifier and a 20 cm driver, reaching down to 30 Hz. It takes over below 90 Hz for deep, fast bass in films and music, with phase control and line or speaker-level inputs.
