Hi-fi sound with the amplifier built in
The Horus 6B Active BT builds on the popular passive Horus 6B: a 2-way bass-reflex design with a 13 cm mid/bass driver made of glass-fibre-coated cellulose pulp and a 25 mm silk-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The built-in 2 × 50 W RMS amplifier drives both speakers for dynamic, clean sound with a 55 Hz – 22 kHz response.
The active speaker houses the amplification and all connections and links to the second, passive speaker with the supplied 3 m cable.
Turntable, TV and computer in one system
The MM phono input accepts a turntable directly with no external preamp, while the RCA line input takes a CD player or any other analogue source. Optical and coaxial inputs support up to 24-bit / 192 kHz and the USB-C port works as a DAC up to 24-bit / 96 kHz for your computer.
With HDMI ARC the speakers become your TV sound system and, thanks to CEC, volume follows the TV remote. A subwoofer output lets you add a subwoofer such as the Elipson Horus 8S for even deeper bass.
aptX HD Bluetooth and easy placement
The Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with aptX HD streams music wirelessly from a phone, tablet or computer in high quality. The front laminar port allows placement close to a wall or inside a bookcase without affecting bass performance.
The MDF cabinet with its two-tone front and body fits any interior. Control is via the supplied remote or the rear panel, and auto standby saves energy.
