KompressorPhantom powered FET-OPTO compressor for ribbon and dynamic microphonesAt Triton Audio, we understand that great sound shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why we’ve engineered a compressor that simplifies the process without compromising on quality. Designed with both seasoned audio engineers and beginners in mind, Kompressor offers a one knob solution that makes achieving the perfect compression effortless. Perfect for home studios, podcasts, and professional recording environments. Compression made easy.OperationYour Kompressor will latch straight onto any XLR equipped microphone, or anywhere else in the signal path between microphone and preamp/mixer. The electronics are housed in a robust metal chassis with a balanced XLR input and output. Kompressor is powered by 48V phantom power. How to useKompressor adds 25dB of gain, which decreases as more compression is dialed in.Our design features a single knob that adjusts compression levels from Less to More. An orange LED inside the knob indicates when the signal reaches the compression threshold. If the LED flashes, it signifies light to medium compression; a continuously lit LED suggests heavy compression, which can be desirable for specific uses, such as on a drum room mic.Due to the one-knob design, compression levels will vary depending on the microphone’s output. For example, with a low-output dynamic microphone like the Shure SM7B, the compression effect is more subtle. In contrast, higher-output microphones such as the Shure Beta58 or a Beyerdynamic M88 can trigger more pronounced compression. For really loud sources we recommend to use an AirHead.Protects the microphoneSome older ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power. Kompressor uses phantom power to power its circuitry, but doesn’t pass phantom power to the microphone, so rest assured your ribbon mics are safe.

A piezo transducer typically has an impedance of several Mega Ohms, which is much higher compared to the high-Z input of instrument preamps or mixing consoles. This prevents the transducer to deliver its potential output signal to the preamp and restricts transient response. Additionally, the high impedance combined with the capacity of the cable to the preamp forms a low pass filter, making a piezo transducer often sound uninspiring. BigAmp Piezo is a BigAmp version specially designed to overcome above issues. It has a 7.5 Mega Ohms input Impedance, which enables the piezo transducer to deliver its full potential. Signal amplification is low (3dB) to allow for the highest possible headroom. Because of its small size BigAmp piezo can be connected as close to the transducer as possible which keeps cable capacitance to a minimum.
The S10.4 powered studio subwoofer builds upon KRK’s legacy for sonic accuracy and performance. The custom-voiced, glass-aramid woofer delivers tight, defined bass, while the Class-D power amplifier dramatically increases transient response, control and punch. The four-position selectable crossover makes it easy to adjust the subwoofer setting to your existing monitors.Pairing the S10.4 with KRK or another studio monitors delivers an optimized listening and mixing experience with extended low end, while the exclusive bypass-control feature provides full range audio to the monitors without switching off the subwoofer. KRK's S10.4 subwoofer doesn’t just deliver precise bass and a rich feature set: it’s the next dimension in subwoofer performance.
The KRK ROKIT series has reigned as among world’s most trusted studio reference monitors for decades. The Generation Five (G5) iteration seriously ups at ante with three innovative voicing modes, DSP room tuning, and a new driver design that extends the frequency range plus provides enhanced damping and modal breakup control. KRK ROKIT G5 monitors also feature Class D power amplifiers that utilize the famous KRK brickwall limiter and a front-firing port that accurately reproduces low end, in addition to allowing more options for pacing your monitors. To help you set up your listening environment, the KRK ROKIT G5 retains an LCD as well as the ultra-handy KRK App for both iOS and Android. Finally, the KRK ROKIT G5 features an LCD that helps you visualize 25 different graphic EQs — the only monitor in its class with such a feature.Voicing Modes let you create, mix, and troubleshootThree Voicing Modes — Mix, Create, and Focus — provide the flexibility of three monitors in one. First, Mix mode provides you with a flat frequency and phase response for when it’s time to mix and master. Next, Create mode is meant writing and producing music, and it’s also an excellent setting for casual listening. Finally, Focus mode focuses on midrange frequencies so you can precisely correct any “honkiness” in your mixes.DSP Room Tuning with LCDWhile Sweetwater mix engineers champion mixing with your ears and not your eyes, they also know that visual feedback can be handy. That’s why they laud the KRK ROKIT G5’s LCD, which lets you visualize 25 different EQ combinations — the only monitor in its class that utilizes such a feature. In conjunction with the KRK ROKIT G5’s DSP-driven Room Tuning, this functionality helps you deftly address acoustic problems in your listening environment.Class D amps and front-ported cabThe KRK ROKIT G5 monitors brandish a couple of significant analog features. First, they utilize custom Class D amplifiers that both evenly power the drivers, improve efficiency at reduced temperatures, and work alongside the revered KRK Brick Wall Limiter to achieve and maintain a more balanced sound, wider dynamic range, and protect your system from mishaps. Second, the KRK ROKIT G5’s front-firing port provides you with a more focused bass representation and gives you much more flexibility regarding your monitor placement.
