The diamond is a single solid piece (nude) mounted directly in the cantilever, for a lighter and stiffer transmission than the bonded tip of the AT-VM95E, with a clear difference in high-frequency detail and transients.It fits any tonearm with a standard 1/2-inch headshell and, like every cartridge in the series, accepts any VM95 stylus, so you can upgrade the sound later by changing only the stylus.
