Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 5 Black

At the heart of the Momentum Wireless 5 are Sennheiser's 42 mm dynamic transducers, built at the company's own factory in Ireland. They deliver the familiar, rich Momentum sound: deep, controlled bass, natural mids and clear highs, with Hi-Res Audio certification.

With Snapdragon Sound and support up to aptX Lossless, music reaches you from compatible phones with virtually no loss. Dolby Atmos with head tracking, enabled through an app update, adds spatial sound to films and music from compatible sources. In the Smart Control Plus app you can shape the sound with an 8-band EQ and presets, while Sound Personalization tailors it to your own hearing.

Adaptive hybrid noise cancellation now uses four microphones on each side, twice as many as the previous generation. According to Sennheiser, it is up to three times more effective against human voices, the noise that bothers most in offices, cafés and on public transport, and it adapts automatically to your surroundings.

When you need to hear what is going on around you, Transparency mode lets outside sound in naturally, without taking the headphones off. The same microphones give you a clear voice on calls, and Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint keeps you connected to your phone and computer at the same time, so you can switch devices without pairing again.

With noise cancellation on, the Momentum Wireless 5 last up to 57 hours on a single charge. Quick charging gives you 7 hours of music in just 10 minutes, and a full charge over USB-C takes about 2 hours.

The 700 mAh battery can be replaced by the user with a small Phillips screwdriver, so the headphones keep working properly for years. They fold flat into a carry case that is 20% smaller than before, and at around 290 g with soft around-ear cushions they stay comfortable on long journeys. A 3.5 mm cable is included for wired listening.
