Dual-mono stereo preamplifier with DAC and MM/MC phono
The Advance Paris X-P700 is the affordable high-end preamplifier. Successor to the X-P500, it offers a dual-mono design, the most direct signal path possible (Direct Path) and a choice of two output topologies: Class A with bipolar transistors in a double cascade, close to a tube character, or Discrete with a JFET differential in Class AB.
Complete connectivity
Nine analog inputs (one balanced) and MM/MC phono. Digital: 2 optical, coaxial, USB-B (XMOS) and USB-A, with a Burr-Brown PCM1796 24-bit/192 kHz DAC. RCA and XLR outputs, a high-pass output and two subwoofer outputs.
For headphone lovers
Two front headphone outputs (6.35 and 3.5 mm), with gain +6/0/-4 dB and output impedance of 0 or 100 Ω.
Serious construction
10 mm methacrylate front, two high-capacity toroidal transformers and a dual-mono filtered supply. The MC phono stage with adjustable high/low level is remarkable for the class. Ideal with the X-A160 EVO or X-A220 EVO power amplifiers.
