Stereo power amplifier 2 x 160 W with High Bias Class A
New circuits, power transistors identical to the MAA 1000, a new power supply, more power and a more modern look: this is the Advance Paris X-A160 EVO. It delivers 2 x 160 W into 8 Ω (2 x 240 W into 4 Ω) in Class AB.
Class A on the first watts
A High Bias switch on the rear makes the amplifier run in Class A on the first watts and switch automatically to Class AB above that level.
Powerful supply
A 700 VA toroidal transformer and very high current NJW0281G / NJW0302G transistors handle the most demanding dynamics with ease.
Shielded construction
Ultra-rigid compartmentalised chassis, audiophile components, RCA and XLR inputs with selector, and large VU meters with adjustable backlight.
